Terrible customer service! They hate their jobs and make sure you know it. Awful attitudes and one lady working in bowling alley was yelling at her boss. It was so unprofessional. Indoor pool was closed for 2 of the days due to being too filthy to use. The hot tubs were dirty as well. The restaurant took forever which I would understand if it was packed, but it wasn’t. The waitress came by once and then bailed until the check and still got 17% tip when she had never refilled drinks, another brought out cold food we had to return and 2 items were not brought with the group and had to get another to go get it and the man was laughing at us as we waited over 2 hours to finally get the last 2 people’s items brought out to them, a simple burger and chicken tenders. Location is great, but for how much you pay you’re better off taking your money elsewhere.

Had an excellent time at Coral Beach Resort. Hotel lobby was nice & clean. Staff was great. Indoor pool is heated, the hot tubs and Jacuzzis were delightful. Starbucks on-site was very convenient. Enjoyed bowling within the same building. Great views of the ocean. Also our check in was 4 pm, but they let us check in at 3pm which was very nice. We had a very wonderful experience.

This was the perfect place to stay for families! It is so clean, the pools are amazing and the staff is so very friendly! The staff are out cleaning pools and the property bright and early, and it definitely gives you a peace of mind knowing the property is maintained so well! Our kids had an amazing time, this resort is worth every penny!!

I tried booking a reservation for Memorial day weekend. I informed the representative that I've had bad experiences in the past and before I could say that I heard good things about this establishment, she cut me off and said "oh you don't have to book here you can stay somewhere else". She was unprofessional, with poor customer service skills, and a bad attitude. I called this morning to make a complaint to management and Ashley the so called manager was just as rude, unprofessional with poor customer service skills as well. Ashley also told me that I would not be staying at this establishment. I don't care if this is the most beautiful hotel in Mrytle Beach, they would never get my business! I will contact corporate regarding this matter. The customer service at this establishment sucks and I will take my hard earned money somewhere else. I hope this helps the next person to ensure that you are not the next victim the terrible customer service that I received from reservations and management of reservations. You never know who could be staying at this establishment. Glad I dodged this bullet.

Old property, bad maintained. We stayed here for two nights and experienced broken shower, broken door to the room so you can’t get in to your room. Mold in the bathroom and in the AC. Indoor pool area is very, very bad ventilated and old. Mold is everywhere in the jacuzzi area. And they don’t clean rooms every day.Rooms: Old. Mold is everywhere in the bathroom and in the AC.

Bedbugs!!!! Yes the hotel is beautiful. Yes it's a great location with many things to do. Yes the pools are great. We checked in and a couple hours after arriving my daughter found a bed bug in the Murphy bed in the living room. They called maintenance up. My daughter had already killed the bed bug and threw it in the toilet. Maintenance did a horrible job at flipping the mattress and halfway looking at it. They were only interested in the fact that they didn't have an actual bed bug to look at but she did have a video she took. Basically seemed like they didn't believe us. Although they did move us to an even nicer room. Which way were okay with. Except for the fact that they were bed bugs in that room as well. I know this because my daughter got bit five times. After returning home we found a bed bug in our bed.. and I have been bitten three times. We did all the precautions when we got home with washing all the laundry that had been in the hotel before taking it into the bedrooms. Only because I read all of this to be a precaution. While at the hotel they did treat the blanket and the teddy bear that was on the bed. I'm assuming it got into our other stuff as well. Management refunded one of our nights. And as of now still in waiting to hear from the district manager several days after arriving home and letting them know that the bed bug came home with us. I feel like it is not being handled properly. They are in no rush. They also gave me a report for both rooms via orkin saying that no bed bugs were found. But that doesn't really make any sense seeing as we have a video of one in the room and even maintenance said there's always more than one and they travel in pairs. I had to treat my whole home. And now we just pray that they have not infested our home. Choose another hotel as they do not take this seriously. And you will regret bringing them in your home and having to deal with it.

Had a excellent time at coral beach...The customer services was AMAZING!! We went to our room and it was still uncleaned , I called downstairs to tell them and ASHLEY, the supervisor ran up 10 floors of steps to bring us keys to a new room AND upgraded us to a ocean view room for our inconvenience and she kept apologizing for it and making sure everything was ok...Our room was very clean and the cleaning lady kept making sure we had enough towels, soap, toilet paper etc...Not to mention all the great things they have in the hotel.. our family did the bowling and had a great time..I will definitely be bringing my family back..The pools and tubes are kept clean .it was just a great week and Ashley and her staff made it even better!!! Thanks, from the Newsome FamilyRooms: Very clean!!

I hate that this is a 2 star but my experience was full of aggravation, frustration, and disappointment. 95 percent of the staff was wonderful. Food was good. Rooms were great. Hotel is full of stuff to do.But no matter what we tried to do it was flooded with wild insanely loud unaccompanied kids. No member of staffed cared at all. The pool was a disaster. Kids were fighting running around with no parents in sight. The security guard almost got knocked over and didn't say anything. 2 of the kids had goggles swimming directly behind girls obviously looking at there butts underwater. A girl felt so disturbed by this she got out to tell her father. She didn't want to go back in the water. The only thing the adults were talking about around the pool is who's kids were these and how awful they were acting. One of the parents left to complain but nothing came of it. Just a security gaurd walked thru again to say nothing at all. So it wasn't just us bothered by it. 3 other family's cut there pool trip short.Imagine my disappointment to go to the bowling ally later that day to see some of the same kids unaccompanied. They must belong to an employee or something. As they seem to be everywhere alone all the time.To top it all we stoped on the 6th floor to get some drinks from the store. And there was 2 more of these kids from the pool playing tag down the hallway at 8pm.Not one night could we enjoy sitting on the balcony, not one night could we open the door and listen to the waves after dinner as someone beside us or above was was smoking pot on the balcony every night. So the hotel was not totally to blame for our horrible vacation experience as it was other patrions that were the major problem. But the hotel could grow some teeth enforce some order and bring some sanity to these public areas. This has the ability to be a one stop never leave the hotel vacation but until they get there rules in order and enforce them we won't be back.

Rooms: The few downfalls are all the rooms are on the outside, it all out in the open as you come out of the rooms. No individuals rooms, someone would have to share, only one bathroom per room. The king rooms balcony is extended and to close to other rooms.Have to have your pass card key for everything, bowling alley does not take cash. Suites and condos is not what you think.Nearby activities: Family kingdom is less than 5 min away, restaurant and other eat is close by, shops is right down the street.Walkability: If you or the family are out for a stroll then I would say the majority of places are within reasonable distanceFood & drinks: The hotel has a Starbucks on lobby floor, only open during morning time, lounge area off from cafe. The bowling alley has a arcade and eatery inside, very pricey it's on the 4th floor. Very kid friendly, lots of games, two pool tables, air hockey,Noteworthy details: They have a lounge and gym on a floor, smoking and non smoking area. Kiddie area is a plus, it's cute and nice and clean.

We booked through a third party app and was told at check in that we had to do a $250 security hold. We were unaware of this and if you didn’t have the $250 you were out of luck. There was no way we could get around it. However, since they are a cashless resort we can use that $250 for food, entertainment, etc on site. Or you can choose not to use it and have it refunded back to your card. The rooms were nice. The hotel was outdated and in desperate need of renovations. Everything is charged a gratuity, including coffee.
