We love everything about this Resort ! Ronnie and Kayla were so friendly and attentive to us and the menu at The Yella Umbrella is delicious! Mrs. Brenda at the Rose Garden breakfast room was delightful and very attentive to our needs. Dayton House is our place to stay every time we go to Myrtle Beach!❤

Love this place, it's just perfect! Awesome up to date rooms, fridge, stove, plenty of cabinet space, bath and showers you would love at home. Rooms are spacious with the best views of the ocean or street views. They are very clean, offer great food, and an awesome bar. Huge pool, hot tubs, sauna, and a huge lounging area with chairs and umbrella tables with ocean view just a minutes walk to the ocean over looking the dunes and so much more! Please give it a try, you won't regret it!!

Don't look at youtube for advice. I did that and was skeptical. Just left two days ago and we stayed for 5 nights. The room was clean and spacious. My son loved the living room. The free breakfast was great. Easy access to the rose room and laundry. The construction didn't bother us. The elevator was fast. Loved the swimming pool and easy access to the beach. Great stay for the price. I booked 3 months ahead for a holiday weekend and saved about 500.00 . Will come again.

The rooms are not top tier, but you cannot beat the location and the atmosphere.

Nice place to stay. Off season it was very affordable.

The construction was eye sore, and it made access to the beach more difficult, but I was able to manage around it. The hotel access to the beach was not ADA friendly, with no ramps for those having difficulty with steps. Couldn't get around through public access due to the construction, so I canceled the reservation I had made for Labor Day.
The beach is what I visit for, but the city has ordinances dictating where you can set up your umbrella and sit, and their guards wait until you are settled in before they tell you to move. I figured setup next to the construction area where it shouldn't matter since he can not see beyond that area. But the guard thought otherwise and made me move again. I definitely will not be back to this beach, and the hotel just didn't meet up to what should have been a pleasant weekend.

The pictures of the resort were a little deceiving. The rooms were not well kept and kind of dirty looking. The towels didn't dry and absorb water after a shower which is weird. The pools definitely needed a scrub, but weren't bad. The location was great and within walking distance to everything you would want. Morning breakfast was basic but a nice
way to start the day
It was a good stay for what we needed, but we wouldn't stay there again.
Shout-out to the pool DJs for keeping the vibe alive

This was a great place to stay. The staff was nice and polite, we asked for extra everything and not one time did they complain or say there is a limit. The breakfast hall was nice, and the food was awesome. The construction did not bother us and the other guest we talked with. There is so much to do, different pools and the beach was great. Thank you Dayton House, we will be back

First time ever visiting Myrtle Beach. This hotel looked a lot better online than in person. Our room was ok, but not as nice as the photos, bathroom shower tiles looked like they were going to start coming off the wall, the bathroom door had paint chipping off and the baseboard had an inch of dirt/dust. Our balcony was a waste, the slider door was stuck and wouldn't move to open properly. The hallway reeked of week as Simon as you got off the elevator .There was construction between buildings that was not disclosed until our arrival, it smelled like sewage when you walked by. The location was decent, but I would not stay here again, especially for the high price we paid for just a few days of accomodations.

Unbelievably gorgeous view of the ocean! Hotel had on-site parking and a wonderful breakfast room each day! Within walking distance to many shops and restaurants!
