“Went here for the first time at this location with my mom on Wednesday December 10th 2025. My mom needed to get a card for Christmas. Dollar Tree is a store that sells cards, some groceries, home items, home decorations, and more! Now some of their items have gone up but some of the cards are still $1.00. We walked in and immediately found the card section. They seemed to have lots more cards than the other dollar tree location in Carolina Forest, including an Uncle card that I found. But i didn't need any cards as I already got mine. Their card section did seem alot smaller though, but my mom was able to find what we needed. We also looked around the store for some calandars like car Calanders, but didn't really find any. Lots of Cat calanders though! We also brought a kitchen meat fork that looked okay. Store was clean and organized. went to the cashier who was pleasant and paid for our items. Highly recommend this Dollar Tree! Hope to be back again!”

“We started shopping in Dollar general dollar aisle instead of going to Dollar tree. They're also cheaper when you go on Saturday and use the coupon five off 25. We also started getting our food there too”

04/21/23 Update - it was about 5:00 p.m. when we dropped by Dollar tree. The prices were still good (and the floor still cluttered ?), but we had a super good experience at checkout by an older gentleman. He was very friendly and helpful.”

“Went here for the 1st time at this location on Sunday April 19th 2026 with my dad. Needed some cards for both mothers day and a birthday that is coming up. If you never been to a family dollar before, they have cards, shampoo, conditioner, hair products, grocery items, mugs, water bottles, and a peloria of items. Very convient and nicely priced.
This location is also a bit bigger than some of the other locations. Didn't walk around as much but did seem like they had more items. Oh and this is also located in a shopping center next to a food lion. Their card section is in the back to the right. Found it after walking a bit. They had lots of mothers day cards. Now while they didn't have a godmother card like sometimes another retailer has, they had plenty of other choices where I found a nice card for instead. they also had an okay selection of birthday cards- though I was looking for dad ones. did find a nice one. When I was done, went to the cashier and paid with cash. In total it was 4.36. paid with a 5 and got proper change. Store was also organized and clean. If I am in the area, will be back for my card needs!”

“Special review for a lady named Ms. Linda.I was looking for something and couldn't find it. I saw she was busy reorganizing the shelves, but I still ask her if she knew where an item I was looking would be. She was so nice, and professional. She helped me look for it all while being so sweet. Speaking with her was a breath of fresh air! Her aura and vibes were so warm! Dollar tree you have a jewel in your store! Treat her well!!!!”

“Patty is an awesome assistant manager. If you knew what ALL the managers and employees have to do, you would understand why she did what she did. She doesn't pick and choose who she waits on. She takes the next two customers in line at a time. Like I said, there's a rhyme and reason. I know at Walmart, you'll most likely stand in line and not scream at the cashier. You can always apply for the job if you can do better. Yes, Carroll is great as well as the other cashiers. Have a great day! ?”

I had a great experience with Jolinn this morning. I had a list for my $5 off $25 Coupon today and the store had everything in stock! I purchased Gain Flings, Cascade Gel, and a couple of Reese's Big Cups for a Pastor friend (He is family to us we love him) who is recuperating from surgery at our home. I noticed a large line of customers ahead of me, but with in about 5 minutes Jolinn had taken care of all of them and it was my turn. She was really fast! When it was my turn, Jolinn smiled, made eye contact, greeted me and asked if I found everything. She then quickly took care of my transaction and even double-bagged the order because the Gain Flings were in a heavy container. She efficiently and correctly accepted my payment and gave me a received with the correct discounts applied and thanked me for coming by today. Jolinn also wished me a great weekend. Thanks Jolinn, for taking such great care of me today and for being so kind and considerate in representing Dollar General. I recommend Jolinn and this Dollar General Store to family and friends.

I had a wonderful experience with Christine today at the Dollar General Store at 906 S. Kings Hwy in Myrtle Beach, SC. I had purchased Meow Mix for my outside cat who we have had for 10 years. I did not open the package until 2 days ago and put it in a special container that I keep the cat food in. Today my lovely bride informed me that our cat was not eating the Meow Mix. She said it was covered with mold. I told her I wondered why it was a lighter color than the original product. I called and spoke with Christine and she told me another customer had the same issue and said to come in and she would give me another bag. I brought the product back to the store and Christine gladly exchanged it, even though she said that I did not have to bring it back. She was friendly, courteous, and very accommodating. I appreciate Christine's professional attitude and excellent customer service both on the phone and in the store. Thanks, Christine, for being a wonderful Dollar General employee who cares about her customers.

As I entered the store, Sydney greeted me and asked how I was doing this morning. After I answered, she offered assistance. After looking around for a while, I asked her where the canned pineapples were. Sydney gladly escorted me to them and handed me the can I chose. I was able to find the Cascade dishwasher detergent. It was an item that I was familiar with since I had purchased it numerous times. At the checkout, Sydney made sure that I found everything that I came in for, which I did. She smiled as she scanned each item and gave me the total. I used a gift card to pay for this visit, and Sydney professionally took care of the transaction. Before I left, Sydney thanked me for coming in, wished me a great Sunday, and hoped to see me soon. She always makes me feel at home and is always professional and helpful. I highly recommend Sydney and this Dollar General location to family and friends.

I entered the store, and Kennesha smiled and greeted me with a welcome back. She then asked if she could help me find anything today. I asked if she had any Cafe Bustelo K Cups, and she took me right to them. With Kennesha's help, I found everything on my list today. She was a great help to me as always. During checkout, Kennesha ensured I received my $5 discount off $25 and wished me a beautiful Saturday. She told me to make sure to stay warm. This is my favorite store. They always treat me like family, and it is convenient to where I live, which is only four blocks away.”

“I like this place because it's easily walkable from the boardwalk and offers a decent selection of groceries at far better prices than the convenience stores on Ocean Blvd. I met two different employees, one was cheerful and friendly, the other not quite as much but still pleasant.

It's kinda cramped inside and not the best shopping experience, but I'm going to give it four stars just because it has a lot of necessities at fair prices and is an easy alternative to the price gouging establishments on Ocean Blvd with pleasant staff.”

7-18-2024. Peter greeted me upon entry today. He smiled and offered help. I asked him where an item was located and he directed me right to it. The store had everything I needed in stock. Peter made sure I received my $10 off $40 discount. He took wonderful care of me taking time to help me out today. I recommend Peter and his store to family and friends. This is my new go-to store as I had an issue with another store manager today of which I will not mention the location. It was not 2000 N Kings Hwy. I did not purchase at that store today because they were out of stock of my ice cream.
7-20-2024. Susan greeted me when I came into the store this morning. She smiled and looked at me as she made that greeting and offered assistance. I saw Manny stocking shelves and asked him where I could find a brush that was on my list. He gladly took me to the item. I was happy to find everything on my list in stock today. The prices were correct, and the store honored my $5 off $25 Saturday discount. Susan checked me out at the register efficiently and with care. She had a friendly and professional manner. Thanks, Susan and Manny, for a great shopping experience today! I recommend this Dollar General location and these two employees to family and friends.”
