“Have you ever been to a Dollar General that didn't look like a complete shitshow? Neither had I. Until I stopped at the Dollar General on Jeremy Loop. The store is CLEAN, well lit, and properly stocked. The shelves are full and the aisles aren't full of stock carts waiting to be unloaded. You can actually navigate the store without having to maneuver around piles of junk blocking your way and find what you're looking for without digging through unpacked merchandise that has yet to be put on the shelf. It was a refreshing experience to visit a Dollar General without feeling like I was shopping at the Hobo Emporium. Kudos to the staff and management. You've achieved the impossible. A nice Dollar General.”

“Jody greeted me with a smile and eye contact when I entered the Dollar General Store at 2000 N. Kings Highway, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He then offered assistance. I asked him if he had any sliced potatoes, and Jody kindly escorted me to the item. He then said to let him know if he could further assist. Jody also helped me find some chicken broth. He was a great help today, and I truly appreciate the kind and professional attitude Jody exhibited. I recommend this Dollar General store and Jody to family and friends.”

“Christina is the best Manager hands down she’s very hands on with what ever I or any other customer needs when it comes to customer service she puts us first. She’s always working very hard to make sure the store is cleaned and stocked with all items we need! She is very proficient and productive every time I shop in there! “Patty is an awesome assistant manager. If you knew what ALL the managers and employees have to do, you would understand why she did what she did. She doesn't pick and choose who she waits on. She takes the next two customers in line at a time. Like I said, there's a rhyme and reason. I know at Walmart, you'll most likely stand in line and not scream at the cashier. You can always apply for the job if you can do better. Yes, Carroll is great as well as the other cashiers. Have a great day! ?”

“Family Dollar is as typical as any Dollar store gets. My biggest problem with any of these dollar stores is that inventory is usually laying all over the place. From my experience from friends who worked at various dollar stores they only hire enough people to cover the register and maybe one other person helping putting items away. They're just as not enough time in the day to keep the store clean and tidy and accident free. As for finding everything that I go in there for which is what they ask you when you get to the register usually yes. And as you go from store to store inventory does vary so if you find it at one doesn't mean you're going to find it at another.”
