My wife and I had the pleasure of staying here the other night and I just had to express how extremely pleased we were with the overall experience. We started off having drinks at the bar while waiting for our reservation time and everything was on point. Then we proceeded to our table and had the absolutely best waitress we ever had. Her name was Jennifer and not only was she polite but really knew the menu, wine and even recommended some food ideas to us. I even asked her to recommend a great bottle of wine and she was right in top of the differences of wine and flavors. She really is one of the BEST waitresses I've ever had. Not sure if any Upper Management will see this but I really hope that you keep her and promote her to running your restaurant!

During my recent visit to Myrtle Beach, I had the pleasure of playing a round of golf at the renowned Dunes Golf and Beach Club, and I must say, it was an experience that exceeded all expectations. From the moment I set foot on the meticulously manicured grounds, it was evident that I was in for an extraordinary day of golf. The golf course at Dunes Golf and Beach Club is an absolute masterpiece. With its breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and lush green fairways, it's no wonder this course has earned a legendary reputation. Each hole presented its own unique challenge, demanding strategic shots and precise club selection. The course design perfectly balances difficulty and playability, ensuring that golfers of all skill levels can enjoy a satisfying round.

Were told to come on out and they’d get us on and as soon as we got there we were told that since we weren’t members they couldn’t get us off until the afternoon. Should probably say that on the phone so our time isn’t wasted.

Do not waste your money in this course. For the price, you could play 3 courses in much better shape. I really don't understand why this course is so expensive.

NEVER PLAY HERE! If you didn't pay for your round ahead of time and paid after, you would have thought it was a $50 round. Awful conditions, awful, and awful! We've played, Kings North, Moorland, TPC and Dye Barefoot...all were less expensive, most had 17 and under play free and they were ALL cheaper than the Dunes. My son asked on the 3rd hole if I thought we were at the wrong course. I played great...this course SUCKS.Dunes management should be ashamed of themselves taking advantage of tourists. I swear I heard them laughing at me in the proshop after I paid.I will be posting this on every site and every day to save anyone I can money.I hate you dunes!!!

Attended a charity event. Appropriate room for our event without being crowded. Bathrooms very clean and well kept.Servers EXTREMELY helpful. Everything appeared to go smoothly.Soup was great just needed crackers. Main entrée was a salad with 6 chicken bites - and a mini-mini croissant (no butter) salad was just a salad w/ chicken. Nothing great. Dessert was Cream Brule an it was delicious. Coffee was excellent.

I have played the Dunes Course several times and have had no issues.... however .... played the Dunes this past week and found virtually all aspects on the course lacking (did like the new tee markers). Keeping in mind I paid what I considered a premium price for a better MB Course after a call from our club pro to gain access ($360+- for the two of us). The greens were all recently vericut with a ton of packed sand everywhere. No mention of this in correspondence. The fairways were as sparce as I've ever seen the course with expanses of dead grass or expanses of lush living and equal expanses of barely coming back (the ball sat down in the soft loam under the ball). We should have seen a discount for this condition but didn't know until afterward and I always almost never end a round of golf with friends whining..... Guess I let it stew and let others know when I do a review (I do some good reviews btw)BTW.I may go back to the Dunes one day but will wait a year or so to let this settle out and maybe ask for that discount in advance.

Incredible golf course in a beautiful setting. Staff was extremely courteous and welcoming. The golf shop was very nicely stocked. All of the members were very kind and accommodating. As a semi-private club, you must receive an invite to play. It is well worth it if you can find a way.

I will start off by saying that the majority of the staff at this golf course were very polite, helpful, and attentive. The golf course was well kept and challenging which made for a great day of golf. Overall the experience would have been a positive one if it were not for Kyle Nissen the associate golf pro. We were a group of 3 foursomes. The second foursome group had a disabled person in the group. They were moving as quickly as they could especially since the golf course failed to disable the cart restriction to allow this person to get closer to the green. Due to this failure, the disabled person on our group was required to walk long distances to be able to get to their ball which slowed the group. Instead of politely noting the issue or even trying to help correct the problem, Kyle Nissen approached the group aggressively speaking loudly as one of the players in the group was swinging (complete lack of Golf etiquette) stating and I quote, “Do you all usually play 5 ½ hour rounds?”. The group was caught off guard, and noted that they were not able to speed up due to the inability of one of the players limitations. I also want to note, that the group behind this foursome had ended their play since we were playing a scramble to try and ensure our three groups were not slowing down the course. Our group plays every year, and this was the 3rd of 4 golf courses that we played. This was the only course where we had a problem, but then again this was the only course that refused to assist our disabled player. I will be notifying organizations such as the American Association of Disabled Persons of this incident so that we can hopefully prevent this from happening to others. The experience we had unfortunately ruined anything positive this course would have, and we WILL DEFINITELY NOT be returning to this course next year which is a shame. All solely due to KYLE NISSEN specifically!
