This morning, my husband and I were at Geek Squad in Best Buy at Coastal Grand, Myrtle Beach. We were greeted by a very pleasant, professional, and well-mannered young man by the name of Deor. He was helpful, explained everything clearly and we did not feel rushed. His parents should be very proud of him. I will give this team at this location in Best Buy in Myrtle Beach SC 5 stars because they deserve it! They worked hard to help me transfer files on my entire PC hard drive from a 'dead' laptop to my portable drive so that I didn't lose very valuable pictures, files, etc. They had to work very hard to do this and they came thru for me. Please give them a chance to help you with any technical challenges. They are a very capable team at this location. Thanks Geek Squad team!! I appreciate you'll! ????

I was assuming my visit to the Geek Squad at Best Buy was going to be like normal. The I’m sorry your going through this, I know it’s a brand new phone but this is the process, and so on” or to be bounced back either to AT&T or Apple and nothing can be done. I was just going through the motion to make sure I covered every end before I filed complaints with consumer fraud and BBB for having so many issues with a brand new IPhone 14 pro max that’s just a month old. However, the Geek Squad Agent O’Daydrien Morant proved me 100% wrong. It would have been easier for him to bounce me like most would but he didn’t and made me feel comfortable. He took the necessary steps to find a resolution and spent a lot of time and effort with me. Praise God, no complaints to consumer fraud or BBB and Apple and AT&T have Mr. O’Daydrien Morant to thank for his compassion, kindness, knowledge saving the companies from negative filings for the next 3 years.

What a joke. I took my laptop to these people after scheduling an appointment. When I arrived I waited patiently while several techs were milling around aimlessly. Finally someone noticed and called me over, I explained the problem that while my computer turned on my screen was not coming on to the technician he then asked me to demonstrate. I then had to turn on my computer which was fine except I needed to connect to an electrical source as my battery does not work either. Once connected it was hooked up to a monitor and nothing happened. The tech informs me I need a video processor but they can’t do the work or fix it????!!!! Why did I even bother to waste my time with them? I’m done with them!

Mikey put a screen protector on my work phone and personal phone, and he did it perfectly twice. No smudges or bubbles, and it was accurately aligned to the edges/camera. All of the staff were friendly, Mikey has awesome customer service skills. 10/10, will come back for future assistance

I was just in the Best Buy store and could not get anyone to help or even stop what they are doing to answer a few questions. Very poor customer service.

Didn't have a protection plan but made an appointment for my fiancé to get her screen fixed. She went and they told her they could send it off but without a plan it would be expensive. They then call me 2 days later to tell me they weren't allowed to ship it off and I would have to come get the tablet. Once we get there we notice more damage to the screen than when we left it with them. Chips, large cracks and glass falling out. Not only did my tablet come back in worse shape than when I dropped it off, they also damaged the case by forcefully trying to remove it. Once the EXTRA damage was done is whenever they finally decided to call and wash their hands of the problem. Completely unprofessional and will never use this service ever again.

Very helpful with work computer that crashed. Seemed genuinely concerned about helping and doing what they could. Unfortunately it couldnt be saved as it wan an older computer, but they gave me excellent recommendations on the best computers for my needs. Definitely will recommend to any of my clients with similar issues in the future!

This place is a joke. I took my phone in last Friday for a simple battery replace. It was booked through apple. They called me 2 hours later saying they messed up something in my phone and deemed it unrepairable. Daniel said either apple or Best Buy is going to replace my phone because they broke it. I have called to get a status on my phone about 5 times and can never get in touch with anyone. Nobody at Best Buy answers the phone. I am starting to get sick of it. I just need a status update on what they’re going to about it.

I have scheduled several install appointments. They give me an appointment then it just disappears. Also they did come last week. Gave window of 7am to noon. I got up at 6:30. It was 12:40 before got here. I got early for nothing. I later learned they do t even get to store until 7:30 am! What the heck??
