1- your on hold for exorbitant amounts of times2- you get transferred around or put on hold or disconnected or all of the items listed.3- they do not understand what you are explaining. They won’t mke an appointment if they do not understand. They put you on hold to ask their supervisor and disconnect you.4- months of calls and still no appointment

You call the number and you get the run around. The website says open, but not a single car around. The appointment call says all phones are busy, I'm sitting here at 10:13am in there parking lot and there deserted. The parking lot is so empty that you can have a full roller hockey match with out hitting a single car. First get your menu options right, if your closed on Friday, then state it. If your still doing appointments to get in, then make it so you don't get the run around.

You must make an appointment on line or by phone. Nobody answers the phone and can't get an appointment on line.

Ive been trying to get information about my taxes for months now & finally got on the line, talked to the lady & tried to ask questions & MRS. ROBBINSON hung up on me , in the middle of speaking to her. She probably didnt like the questions I was asking. When MRS. ROBBINSON is out of work & has 4 kids and is STILL yet to recieve her taxes I hope they treat her with the same kindness she treated me with aka hanging up on an upset crying woman. Thanks IRS you failed us again.

I have been trying to get tax transcripts for my final semester in college. This year has been the hardest to get anything from this government service. Yes, in the past visits have been not only helpful but pleasant as well. I call, and I'm redirected by automated call service. First, was told to use the IRS.gov website. I attempted using the IRS.gov site, which kicks me off -- I take all troubleshooting steps. I call the number on the website, requested transcripts via mail with no luck. Next, I go to the local IRS building on 19th avenue. For years, I've been able to walk right into this building. It seems, each year they make it harder and harder to deal with them on a personal level. This year, I was met at the door by an armed Armed Security Officer who would not allow me to enter. He stated I needed an appointment and handed me a sheet of paper with a number on it to call. It wasn't an appointment line. Instead what I got was another number that transferred me to the National number...so, in the parking of this building, I requested transcripts again with the automated system explaining I would get them in 5 to 10 business days. Maybe, I will get them this time.

Mr. Chun help me over the phone with an issue I had with my tax preparer. Was relieved to find out my identity was in fact not stolen and was able to figure out it was only a typo that was wrong with my tax return. I was very surprised and thankful at how eager he was to help me

Quick and easy should be more than one person though, waited 45minutes to be seen, then rushed out because of the guards lunch time. Well if you could not see me they should have two guards or two attendants.
