We stayed here for a romantic getaway and the resort is fabulous!! The staff are so helpful and friendly, especially at the on-site restaurant. The food AND service was outstanding! We were catered to like royalty and didn’t want to leave after the week was over.The resort is right on the beach and there aren’t many people in that section of beach so it feels really private. The view was amazing from the room, one of the 3 pools, or lounging in one of the guest lawn chairs.I can’t say enough great things about this place!! We will definitely be back!

This hotel is one of my best stay in a while, perfect location, great ocean views, rooms are big and clean. Pool is very good for kids. Restaurant is top notch, food tastes amazing. Reception area is a bit dark, could have more lights, parking garage is a bit difficult to park, less space. Overall highly recommended.

My favorite Resort to visit. I'm a repeat guest, 3 years strong. I will continue to stay with this Resort Chain. I feel like I am at home here. Everything I need in one place and the views are perfect for my family. Non smoking property. Something for every age to enjoy. Worth the price and offer great deals seasonal. Hospitality & interior design is top-tier.Rooms: Oceanfront view from every room on every floor. Smoke free with balcony. Premium plush bedding. Quality mattresses that appear to be new and are obviously professionally cleaned regularly. They're so comfortable! My first night, 3 years ago, I didn't experience any lower back pain which made me want to come back again; twice a year.I love the interior design! It truly feels like a new home away from home. Waking up right in front of an ocean view is so relaxing; feeling the breeze blowing through the space. Honestly, this place does something special for my mental health. I can't explain it. Full kitchen with everything you could need for cooking and dining. Spacious bathrooms stocked with necessities, and it's super clean. Housekeeping deserve to be tipped for their attention to detail and willingness to accommodate guests with grace. We are very pleased with the Owners of the penthouse suites. They always have something memorable for guests to enjoy. I only choose the penthouses, even if I have to pay extra to secure one. (*Please tip, respectfully.)Noteworthy details: There is an heated indoor pool with a water feature. I love this for my little one. Perfect for off season stays."Vista Pizza" Family Meal Deal is our go-to! The pizza is made with authentic Italian ingredients. Plus they will deliver to your room for 18% service charge. It's worth it if you're traveling with kids.The outside lounge area is a vibe, especially at night. There is always something going on for everyone to enjoy.

We have been going to Island Vista for many years and I can confidently say that this time was the best. The room we got was phenomenal and had so much more to offer than any of the other rooms. The floors were hardwood (Vinyl floor plank), there was a massive flat screen tv, a custom couch and chairs, and just so much beautiful decor. There was also a guest book which had countless stories from people who stayed in the room before us (all good). It has 3 bedrooms, a kitchen, dining area, living room, and spacious balcony. This room is 710 and I cannot recommend it enough- if you stay here and request it, I promise you will not be disappointed. The other rooms in Island Vista are really nice as well, so dont be upset if the room is reserved. Overall, the staff at Island Vista were fantastic, kind, and the private beachfront access was definitely a nice perk.

Barefoot luxury at its finest from the restaurant and pool deck to the gorgeous rooms.Not sure if it was the beach, the breezes or the friendly staff but a memorable time was had by all.

Angel at the front desk was so helpful after we checked in. Beware there are only 2 small bike racks for the entire resort. We went in Feb and they were full. We put our bikes in our room and then angel helped us get a better room.Location wss great. Ate breakfast there and it was very good. Indoor pool area was very nice.We switched from regular hotel room to a 1 bedroom unit.

Great, spacious condos with multiple bedrooms, large Dena, good size kitchens and large dining tables. Add in ocean front views, large balconies, multiple pools, multiple jacuzzis, numerous sinking and pool chairs, an eat in restaurant that is very good, staff to service the rooms and maintain security and no smoking or vaping rules (nice), a 50 foot walk to the beach, and a location in the best part of Myrtle Beach, and you have the perfect condos. I’d definitely come back.

NiceWalkability: No elevator in parking deck. Parking deck was attached to resort so no walking across street.
