I just want to start off by saying the woman who cut my hair today was phenomenal. I unfortunately can not remember her name at this moment but she was absolutely fantastic. My hair cut was amazing. She did such a great job. I will be coming back from now on just for her. Also knowing that I used to go into the old salon she used to work at to now seeing her here is awesome. I'm so sorry I forgot your name but I just want to say thank you for taking my hair appointment last minute. You rock. See you again soon.Services: Shampoo & conditioning

I had an appointment and I call to confirm my time. This is not the first time I got a call to reschedule or found out my stylist is gone for the day. I will never make an appointment for this unsable salon. I think their are prejudice. I am mixed woman and my hair is naturally curly and feels like they don't want to style my hair.Services: Shampoo & conditioning

I love Ms.Lee she is seriously the best she has been doing my hair now for 2 years! I love her dearly and she knows what she is doing. My hair has been falling out and she will fix it up and make it look like a million dollars love that lady and she is funny ?

I take my grandmother here every couple of weeks. The entire staff is so friendly and accustom to my grandmother, as she is 90 years old. Debra is her usual hairdresser and always meet us with a smile.

If I could have gave this place a zero I would have I would choose the Regis walmart salon over this place any time they are never convenient for you not sure who the lady was that answered the phone but she was cursing in the back ground also if I have the money to get my hair washed and flat ironed I should not have to listen to the girl acting like she didn't want to do it asking question like what's the occasion that you need me to was and flat iron your hair does there have to be an occasion I have tendonitis in my shoulder and it hurts to lift it so you acting like it was a promblem to do it didn't set well with me so I will never make an appointment here again

I recently moved here from upstate New York.. I scheduled an appointment with Lee for a perm.. She proceeded to tell me how bad my hair was, my hair was uneven and damaged.. Why is your hair so thin. I told her I have a thyroid condition could be why? My whole experience was her complaining about my hair not helping me try to fix it. Needless to I left there feeling terrible about myself. Why Would a person be little someone when you're there to make yourself feel better. I will never go back shame on you Lee.Service: Hairstyling

Took my 13-year-old son into the salon to get a haircut. I specifically asked that she keep his curl and at least an inch and a half on his head. She basically did not listen to me cut his hair all the way down to a half an inch and it’s very uneven all over the place. I don’t believe this one it should be a hairdresser. The sad thing is is I will not go back to JCPenney salons in the future. If I hadn’t have said exactly what I was looking for I would not have a problem with this. My problem is she disregarded every single thing I asked her to do.

DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON. I needed a quick cut. I should of done it myself. She was 30 min past my appointment time. She was rushing and wanted to go home. I told her about my allergies and she did not care. She did not even check the shampoo and conditioner. Then cut my hair so quick. It is uneven. Then proceeded to burn me with the hair dryer. I love hot heat and hot showers. I was almost in tears. (I told her it was hot) this was after she told me it was EXTRA for dry hair. Assuming I could not afford it. I don’t want to walk out of a salon with wet hair.I did not catch her name. Her stand is through the door and second chair on the left wall. Do not go.Services: Hairstyling

This was my third visit to this salon. I was not over the moon with the service but satisfied in the first two. Today I had highlights done with Christina and my hair trimmed. When I went to pay for the services, the first amount on the register was $95 but then the stylist asked if I were a Penny’s reward client. I wasn’t sure so she asked me for my phone number and entered it into the register. As it turned out I was not a member. When she returned to the screen to charge me again, she changed the amount due to $120 which I asked her about. She said it wasn’t a partial highlight and that she used more foils than usual. I noticed however that my receipt said partial highlights! This girl changed the amount of this service thinking I would not notice! NOT good service ladies! I was so disappointed that a professional especially at J C Penny’s would do so! Unfortunately I’m not returning!!

Since moving here 20 years ago, I have been through quite a few hair stylists, without getting results I want. Nothing special. Just the cut I WANT....Darlene changed all that, YEA!!I drive a hour to get there, but I'm happy. Thanks so much! Joy
