I miss judged the distance between my 2013 Lexus sedan and the bumper of my truck in my garage. This resulted in a rather unsightly and long indentation and scratch along the side of my car from the rear quarter panel to the front passenger door. We received a recommendation to take it to Modern Rust and see what they could do. Bruno assessed the damage to the passenger side, as well as a ding on the left side and other scratches on the rear. He came up with an estimate which was half of what we had gotten from a dealership body shop. So later, we brought our car in to have the work done, and it was done in the time promised and was as perfect as the eye could detect. In addition, he had his folks detail the car so that when we drove it home, it looked as new as the day we purchased it in 2014.

Got my truck repaired here after someone scraped my front bumper while backing up. They got me in super quick for an appointment and the work was done within 2 days. Bruno is a great guy, I had work done a couple years ago by him and his team! They’ve done a wonderful job both times. Highly recommend!!

if I could offer 10 stars I would, I had Bruno & crew take on my vintage Jeep truck & they went above & beyond my expectations, I would highly recommend this shop, their mechanic work is impeccable & Bruno is a very talented painter. Overall it was money well spent.

Just happened to see the body shop and needed to have my ford truck lid repainted. I stopped in and they were very helpful and told me yes they can do it. I brought it in, I was told it would taje 5 days. On the 3rd day I got a call my lid was completed. When I went to pick it up I could not believe the paint job they did it looked brand new again!!!!! This is the body/paint and restoration shop that I would highly recommend in Myrtle Beach. I’m truly glad I found them and they did a fantastic job. Definitely a 5 star shop!!!!!!! Anthony DeMonica

I wish I could give this joke of a place a zero. Modern rust will destroy your vehicle and steal your money. DO NOT USE MODERN RUST. I've seen first hand the destruction this fool has done to several vehicles. Take your car somewhere else....Macco would even be a better option. You have been warned. AVOID MODERN RUST

They did an amazing job removing all the rust on the top of my old Honda near the sunroof and repainting it to perfectly match the rest of the car. They were very professional and did the work in a timely fashion. I would definitely use them again in the future.

Beware of Bruno the belligerent owner/operator. He will take your money, do part of the job, and then tell you to come pick up your incomplete vehicle. He will cry about not working for free when he underbids a project and blame everyone but his own incompetence when he doesn't finish. Do yourself a favor and find a reputable shop to work on your vehicle. He is a textbook narcissist and will never acknowledge that he doesn't complete jobs. Check yelp reviews. If you have all the experience you claim to have then why can't you complete a project that you estimated 6 months, in what is now over 2 yrs?

Dropped in on a whim to see if Modern Rust would replace the bumper cover on my 2011 Jeep. Nice guy and he knew exactly what I was talking about. He fixed it and price was under what we expected. Fixed it the same day! It was a small job but very professional and price was very reasonable and fair.

Shout out to Bruno and team at MODERN RUST in Myrtle Beach!My Christmas wish was to have my 5 yr old vehicle (with only 50,000. Miles) paint job refreshed. We live in a condo bldg with garage so it’s protected from weather BUT NOT door dings.I stopped in for estimate to remove door dings / painting as needed ..He took the time to explain procedure and time frame involved..My husband returned with me to pick upvehicle and we were both so happy with results.The vehicle is shiny and bright!Thanks Bruno and team members for the great service / teamwork.You have a customer for life!Wishing you and yours a Happy New Year.!

Had a Lambo door kit installed on my 2017 Mustang. Kit was painted and installed in the time and cost quoted. Office staff is wonderful to deal with and time was taken at pick up to show and explain all work and operation of new parts.

This is the SECOND car that Bruno and his team have done for me...my 2023 TESLA!! I drove through some sort of paint and they did a fabulous job getting all the paint off of the side of the car as well as all up in the wheel well. THEN they coated the whole thing with a ceramic coating...inside and out...it looks INCREDIBLE. Fantastic Work Ethic as I stated below when they did my Honda. THANK YOU!! (and I don't trust many people with my Tesla but I knew Bruno would take great care of her!!).Bruno and his team are really amazing! They did a fabulous job on my Honda...repairing all the scratches and painting and completely detailing the whole car! Fabulous work ethic at that shop! Bruno and Mallory at Modern Rust were exceptional! Recently took a Ram pickup there to have some undercarriage rust remediated and have an undercarriage protection spray applied. Since I work most days my wife was the one who had to take the truck in to have them take a look and give an estimate for everything I wanted to have done. Bruno was amazing; he thoroughly and simply explained to my wife what he was going to do so she could relay the info to me. And the work he did was meticulous and top notch. You can really tell he takes pride in his work. Would highly recommend.

Does anyone know another shop that can finish my restoration for my 1990 Ford Mustang convertible I brought in to be done 2/ 2022 and it only has been painted? I paid 2 deposits and my contract states 6 - 8 months. I really didn't want to wait 2 years. Bruno said I can take it as is. So disappointed ☹️
