I am not one to expect anything for free. I was raised in Manhattan and outside of the city, and have not experienced let me do you favor type of thing - especially when it comes to cars. I purchased my Kio in late 2021 and drove it across country from the west coast to Myrtle Beach. And I established contact with MB Kia as they would be my closest Kia dealership. Immediately, they wanted to purchase my car. It was late 2021 and the car had less than 3,000 miles and it was hard time in the world and harder for cars. Frankly, I was lucky I found this car and it was a bit of a miracle that an amazing Kia dealer in Oregon located it for me. I was not selling the car. I had not owned a car in over 11 years and had to purchase this car to live here because there is no reliable mass transit which I had been using as my main method of transportation from mid 2010 to late 2021. And I have been really lucky with the car and only take it to MB Kia for oil changes. However, I did back into a pole the other day. Very gently for the most part but it did pop out a piece of the bottom of the bumper. Photo attached. And I had the piece to put back. So, I drove over to MB Kia and encountered a service tech. I explained and showed him the problem. Before doing so, a coworker notice the situation on my car, and took a flashlight, looked in and said, there is a plug that has to be removed, and then you should be able to come up from under the car. Would involve laying on the ground. My coworker did not have tools to do this, and I would not ask him. That's a stretch in my opinion and I really don't know him well. So, now I am standing at the service area at MB Kia with the service tech, and he says "Oh, you have to take this to a body shop, They need to pop off the entire back bumper and fix that way." I explained what my co-worker told me and the tech said "nope" doesn't work that way. "If I could help you I would, and if it was that simple, I would reinstall but it's not." Hmm. Tech gave me the card for a body shop that MB Kia uses. I inquired as to the cost and was told probably about $80.00 30 minutes of labor. Okay, off I went. BUT, and there is always a but, that was NOT the case at all. My co-worker was correct because I went to a different collision center than suggested, 5 minutes later, no lift or bumper removal, fixed and zero dollars. The nice man said, oh it's good to help people out when you can and this was simple. He did state that dealership employees are there to sell cars and not do favors. I believe this now and really disappointed by MB Kia. Now, the tech could of thought this was how to fix the car, and that is scary in itself because he should know how to repair all parts of the car. He could of been drumming up business for the collision center he suggested and have some sort of deal with them, or could of been plain lazy and not care about providing excellent customer service and helping a lady out. You be the judge. Suffice to say I probably won't go back to MB Kia. And a family member is looking to purchase a brand new Kia, and I was going to suggest MB but not any more. Kia in Florence is a little further but they have been amazing and will get the sale and business in the future.

If you’re thinking about buying a new vehicle from this dealership find another or get a different car. Their service department is the worst. It could take weeks to get an appointment, it’s nearly impossible to reach them, they don’t return phone calls, they don’t call you back when they promise and screw up the simplest task.On top of that they’re sloppy. They forgot to reset my oil warning light after an oil change so the reset indicator came on every time I started the car. When I called to get it resolved they told me I needed to make an appointment. When I questioned the mistake THEY made they basically said take a number. I figured I could live with the light until my next appointment.When I purchased my new car as an accessory I had Myrtle Beach KIA put on window air deflectors, one was flapping in the wind within 6000 miles.More recently I dropped off my car there to replace a tire. I also told them about the indicator light for the oil change, they assured me they would take care of it. It took a day to get a replacement tire, if they were telling the truth which I don’t believe, I could understand the delay. When I called to see if it came in they said it did and would get to it in the morning and call me.The next morning no call. I called to find its status, I gat a recording that said I would get a call back immediately. That never happened. I called back and FINALLY got through. They told me that someone was just assigned and it would be ready in an hour and a half.Now I go to pickup my car and asked if they fixed the oil change indicator light and the service manager said they didn’t fix it and would get right to it. A man came out, hopped in my car for a few minutes and said he fixed it. When I get home I shut off the car then started it again and the oil change indicator light popped up.I’ve been buying new cars for 50 years and have never experienced such incompetence and terrible customer service.I’m done with KIA. Anyone want to buy a KIA Niro Hybrid with low mileage?

Before you sign on a dotted line..make sure you get that second key..i got the worse lie .it was we will contact previous owner.well that never happened.and then lie that i said it wasn't a concern..i mean who wouldn't want 2 keys. There was no way they would give me a key..the greed is a horrible thing i guess it would breakthem thing.wasn't a concern about the second key.

me and my wife were looking for a new van and we were looking at all the makes and models, ran across the kia carnival and fell in love with it. now we wanted a certain model, and this was the Trickey task we wanted the VIP seating and seemed to be a task to accomplish, well Joe Claudio at myrtle beach kia took extensive time to find the exact one we wanted, and he found it! I called numerous dealers via several states and got a run around, they wanted money down etc. Joe said no worries let me do what I need to do, and I will call you. he sure did! before that we wanted to test drive one, he drove to my job and we went on test drive with a base model just to see if we liked how, it drove and handled, that to me is a salesman doing everything to make a customer happy. he was on top with staying in contact with us and told us he found one and is having it delivered same color specs and package we wanted. we went to the dealer same day and signed the paperwork and left. he also came in on his day off to deliver the car! top notch!!

This rating is for Will in service the service department he is great. If you ever in the service department make sure you ask for him. He really exceeds all standards of great customer service. As long as he is there I will continue coming back because it's rare that you find good people in a service department

Will in service did an excellent job today. I took my Kia in for service he was able to answer all questions in a timely manner. Got me in and out very professional very nice person. Way to go Will!!!

Went in to look at cars with my Grandparents and was immediately greeted by Jason Gingras. He helped us from the moment we got there up until setting up Bluetooth on my new Hundai before driving off the lot! Very knowledgeable and personal, my know-it-all Grandfather was very impressed with all he did for us which says a bunch. Thanks again Jason for getting us a great deal and making us feel as comfortable as possible with our purchase!

Be very careful about "saving a lot of money"! This dealership ADDS $4995 TO EVERY CAR ABOVE THE STICKER PRICE. THEN says they're giving you a discount off of the "made up" false "Dealer list price" so you still.pay OVER STICKER for the vehicle! And the $525 "closing.fee" is additional DEALER PROFIT!" DON'T PAY IT.GO on line & shop nearby. Don't pay these exorbitant prices.
