This is a favorite driving range while visiting Myrtle Beach. I wish they would work to restore the short game practice area to a better condition. It would enhance the experience.

Palmetto is a nice course. Well maintained except for a few greens that are under repair. Not too pricey. Slow play back 9. Would play again.

We play here every trip, but today was an absolute cluster. The courses are in great shape, but there is no excuse for a 6 1/2 hour round. The marshal was just riding around saying it's a slow day. When 3 groups show up at every tee box starting on the second hole, somebody is holding things up. Never thought teeing off at 1, you'd finish in the dark and come in to a closed clubhouse. Miserable way to end a golf trip.

Have heard good things about myrtle wood before and just hear to let everyone know they are correct. We played the palmetto course and our round was paused due to lightning unfortunately However all of the staff at the club house knocked the lightning delay rush out of the park!! Was seamless for us golfers who were coming in to get a drink while we waited. Both pro shop and grill staff made conversation with everyone and kept spirits up while waiting. Can say we will 100% be returning and suggesting to people when they ask what to play in the area

The Pine hills course was in good condition for early April and the layout kept us interested.

Nice layout. Routed thru hosing division but plenty of room. Just have to be careful on drive, can be driven thru fairway on number holes into trouble le.

I recently had the pleasure of playing both courses at Myrtlewood Golf Club in Myrtle Beach, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The club features two distinct 18-hole layouts: Palmetto and PineHills, each offering its own unique charm.
The Palmetto Course stood out with its scenic beauty, especially the 18th hole that runs alongside the Intracoastal Waterway. The fairways were lush and forgiving, making it an enjoyable round even for mid-handicappers like myself. Water comes into play on 11 holes, adding just the right amount of challenge without being overly punitive.
On the other hand, the PineHills Course, designed by Arthur Hills, offered a more strategic game. The layout requires thoughtful shot placement, and the rolling fairways and well-placed bunkers kept me engaged throughout the round. The course was in excellent condition, with smooth greens that rolled true.
The facilities at Myrtlewood are top-notch. The clubhouse is welcoming, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I also appreciated the on-course amenities, including the well-maintained carts and convenient snack bars.
Overall, Myrtlewood Golf Club offers a delightful golfing experience with two well-maintained courses that cater to a variety of skill levels. Whether you’re looking for a scenic round along the water or a strategic challenge, Myrtlewood has something to offer. I look forward to returning on my next trip to Myrtle Beach.

Great staff in the bar. Course was in fine shape where we were there. Exception was the greens which were slower then velcro. Lots of free parking. Both courses compliment each other well so try them both.

Very good condition...greens moderately fast
Somewhat slow play (particularly on Pine Hills, where they double tee).

Golf course was awesome. Under 16 golfed for free which was nice. Thought it was a fair price for 18 with a cart. Club rentals we 60, i really didn't think that was bad for a nice set. We had a great time and will be back
