When we first walked in, all you could smell was a musty smell. It turned out our whole place had water damage and black mold on the ceiling. The 2 lamps next to our bed was covered in black mold. When I called the office, they were friendly and said housekeeping would be taking care of it. After a day, housekeeping still did not stop by. We took care of the moldy lamps ourselves. The floors were sandy and not clean. We left a day early because we couldn't take it anymore. All of our belongings smelled musty after we left also.

The place is a bit dated compared to some of the other buildings around but the rooms are actually nice and look recently remodeled. I personally love the location with much to do (midway park, putt putt, Golf, watermarks, strip, etc) extremely close by..

IT. WAS.HORRIBLE, the manager was careless, the rooms were horrible, there’s were stains on EVERYTHING, the sheets, the walls, the lamps, on the floors, the parking area was horrific, trash everywhere and the pool was dirty, the water was so disgusting, no wonder why my little brother had blisters after taking a swim there, the staff was “ok”, but what shocked me the most was that there were smashes cockroaches on the paintings, the stove didn’t work at all, the cabinets were broken

Booking.com said 59$/night. Hoaks!!!In reality it was 385$/night four a tidy, little, 2 bed kingsize room, without towels and soap.Swimming pool, oven, fridge, micro, tv was although in the price.

Very bad experience... found dirty pillows in cabinet with cookie crumbs around it .. no towels in bathroom & linen didn't appear to be changed

Gross the bed and stains on it there was a knife left in cabinet and the smell was terrible as we were coming in a guy was spraying for roachs very gross this is a motel not a hotel at least 50 years

It should be zero. There is nothing true about this place as they advertise, this is probably the worst place in South Carolina. I made reservations few hours before I got here it was last minute thing, soon I pulled into the parking I had feeling this is not going to be good. There is no ocean view (as the advertisement) there pool water was so dirty, outside furniture all broken nothing like a pictures, people smoking anything on stairs and balconies , so I got the key card to inspect the room the room was disgusting everything from the front door to bathroom in back, everything was dusty broken or scratched, Garbage inside a stove, smells like mold, give yourself favor go somewhere else

Overall decent for the price, one of the comforters have cigarette burn in it, smoke detector has dead battery, and all the stairwell fire hose boxes only have a fire extinguisher. Auxiliary parking lot not far from motel so that's a plus.
