PSA has been building a good reputation online for their products and walking into their establishment continues that good reputation. They have a great selection of merchandise, far more than I expected to see! Great and friendly customer service, really was a joy to hang out and talk shop in such a neat establishment! I'm looking forward to their expansion in the near future and definitely will stop in again!

If I could give them 0 stars I would. The range employees are very disrespectful. If you want to be treated like trash go to this range. I will NEVER Shoot or purchase ANYTHING from Palmetto ever again. I have spent THOUSANDS of dollars in palmetto. The manager's response to that was we are not part of the store! Then he doesn't care! The manager of the shooting range should look at who he is hiring. Go to a different range where you are respected! To the owner sit in the range and watch how the employees treat your customers. With no customers, you have no business!

Palmetto Armory in Myrtle Beach is the biggest and coolest gun, archery, fishing, camping, and pretty much everything needed for all of your outdoor activities store all under one roof. Everything you see in the store is available in-house and at great prices. I give the business and every employee in the store a 5 star rating except for one guy, a small cashier 'manager' called Mark. I was there yesterday for a simple exchange/return (non weapon) and for another purchase of a new item and Mark, the little man up front, was veryy rude to my FBI father, DBPD sister, my mother and to me. He didn't want to honor the return because we were a few days past their policy which also clearly states that it's under the manager's discretion to still honor after the 30 days and he said no ten different ways. He has zero customer service skill, no managerial abilities, doesn't warrant nor receive any respect from anyone in the building, and frankly, he needs to be fired so he can find a different line of work that doesn't involve other humans. He is the rudest 'manager' I've ever spoke with in any industry. Thankfully, four other managers from the gun department saved them from loosing business from four loyal customers due to Mark's attitude with adjectives Google will not allow me to post to describe him. Thanks to those polite, professional, respectful, and honest gentleman, we'll remain loyal customers and be back for many more purchases. Ultimately, they refunded my return and gave me 10% off of my purchase yesterday because of the intentionally stressful situation with Mark. The guys that saved the day, deserve a raise, and retained our future business are David, Jeff, Tony, George and Cornell. Those guys are awesome and we'll be working with them on all future purchases. Again, 5 stars to those guys and to the business. And a very negative 5 stars for Mark the cashier 'manager'.

not sure why the few one stars were crying so much, I've been in several times and have had absolutely ZERO issues. Staff were attentive, welcoming, not rude at all. Didn't seem annoyed when asked to look at multiple handguns. A friend and I had nearly an hour long talk with one employee just on sights for rifles, never made us feel stupid if we had questions. also want to point out, I'm not even a gun person but still will purchase from here when the time comes.

I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to complement the Palmetto State Armory for their customer service and professionalism. I am a newbie to the guns. When I entered the armory, I was immediately greeted and made to feel welcome. Everyone was extremely helpful, but I wanted to complement those that I had personal contact with. I took a class with Tom who is extremely knowledgeable and very patient. He went above and beyond to accommodate me. David and Billy were also helpful in making suggestions on a gun that fits my needs. Eddie sold me my guns and is full of knowledge too. The bottom line is that this is a 5-star establishment, and you can’t go wrong by patronizing the Palmetto State Armory.

First time visiting, but it was definitely not my last. A large selection of firearms and ammunition at good prices. I was surprised at the hunting and fishing supplies also.

First ever visit to Palmetto State Armory was today. So glad I did! Stocked up on 9mm and 22lr at great prices. Spoke with several employees and Nancy was the stand out! My husband and I were discussing our favorite Caniks and Rugers with her when she said we had to see a CZ. Oh she was so right! Best gun I ever saw…Just wanted to say it was a pleasure shopping at Myrtle Beach’s Palmetto State Armory. We’ll be back to see Nancy before we have to go back home.

The best gun / fishing store around! friendly and knowledgeable staff, a bigger fishing selection then bass pro, and more guns then most gun stores around combined. definitely worth a visit.

The employees are very nice and helpful. They have a bunch of famous brands and they stay pretty well stocked. The employees are very good at answering the questions we had and if they didn’t know they would find someone who did. Also found out the PSA made products are life time warranty. So that makes it worry free. They also have a very nice shooting range. With these employees it was a lot of fun.

While on vacation at Myrtle Beach, my wife and I stopped in to see a place I was only familiar with online. I wish we had a PSA in our state as it is a really nice place with very helpful people. If you hunt, fish, or shoot and you cannot find what you need here, you are going to have to open a factory of your own and just make it yourself!

Great place ! Large and spacious with many offerings . I suggest making a trip here with friends and or family and try the range they have as well. The assortment of goods are plentiful and the swag/apparel is pretty neat . I would suggest going in there with a game plan because it can take a while to peruse everything they have to offer. Aside from protection they also offer fishing gear ! Who would’ve thought . It’s worth the adventure and you wouldn’t be disappointed .

Well... some staff members have zero customer service skills. Some have zero knowledge of guns, and one employee said I'm a glock guy ( So , if you work in a firearms store, you should know more) Range has different rules with certain employees every time you go. Had a range employee tell me I'm firing my semi auto handgun to fast that I need to wait 3 seconds between rounds. What damage am I going to do against that wall with waiting 1 second between shots? lol.

We have been a fan of PSA for many years now. Definitely check this place out! Their website has some good deals too! We buy ammo here and then go to the local ranges to shoot. Research your target ammo before you stop by because if you ask anyone you'll be guided straight to the bulk AAC ammo at the entrance. It's not bad but it's definitely lower tier range ammo.It was also very hard to find someone to help with the AR-15 build area. It took him a while to finally come over to help us. I had to read SKU numbers from upper receivers off the website for him to compare them to ALL the similar looking uppers on the wall. I was surprised he didn't type it into a computer to check the stock. I would stick with researching on Google and then buying off the website. The three different employees I have dealt with in my two visits had very little experience with the AR platform. They were all polite and professional though.Edit: (we checked out the range)We prefer our usual local ranges. It is nothing against the employees, they are great. It's the vibe if that makes sense. It is extremely busy and very strict. It's a new range so I understand. It's a lot different than our usual local ranges so my girlfriend wasn't a huge fan. I will be coming back by my self in the winter when it slows down.Edited review from 4 to 3 stars. Employee lack of knowledge / training. Some with zero knowledge of firearms.
