This place is not worth the price in my opinion. Its a cute place. Our waitress was great. But the amount you actually eat for what you pay isnt worth it. The entrees were all just average. I didnt feel like it was any better than a cracker barrel restaurant honestly. The green beans were definitely canned which is ridiculous at a paula dean restaurant. And you have to pay for your drink seperately. We had 10 of us so we chose the 4 entrees at $30 per person. For the drink to not be included is crazy. And the dessert that they give you (while tasty) is SMALL! I would never waste my money here again. Your paying for the name is all.

What a fun experience! I highly recommend bringing a huge appetite. We had so much food. Things I strongly recommend.1. Chicken and Dumplings (taste like home!)2. Fried Chicken3. Meatloaf4. Creamed Corn5 Cole Slaw6. The banana pudding dessert7. And the ooey gooey butter cake!Lastly the cheddar biscuits were very good!!Things I don't recommendGreen beans and the Mac and cheese (green beans were like dressed up canned green beans and the Mac and cheese was sorta ....bland?)Anyway overall it was delicious! A cool special treat!

Nice concept, Buffett family style without the self serve Buffett. I liked it. The fried chicken was great, the chicken dumplings were yum, and the Mac n cheese was good too.

Even though Paula has her issues with black folks, she sure does know how to cook like one. From the shrimp and grits, the fried catfish, and the collard greens; the food is great.

Great family restaurant. Delicious food and staff was very welcoming of our toddler, which meant a lot to us. Big thank you to Trent for being so attentive during our visit.

Paula Deen's was a great place to go once. Am glad I went; however, I have no desire to go back. The greeters and folks in the store were really nice. The service from the table server was average at best. Not as attentive as I would have expected. They never made an offer to bring more of anything after the initial service. The desserts were very small (three to four small bites) and they were not prepared very well. Seemed as if the desserts were prepackaged vice homemade. Somewhat disappointing.

Family style dinner. You pick a certain amount of meat and sides, and everyone take from that when they bring it to the table. * You can not take any leftovers home* Each person does have their own choice of desert, which you can take home. The only downfall is the portion you receive, no bigger than your palm.

Everything was good, but not to the point I would put it on my list of restaurants to go back to soon.Wheelchair accessibility: Elevator up to the restaurant level from the first floor store. Isles wide enough to comfortably pass through.Restrooms on the first floor, so might want to plan ahead for going between the first to second floors as needed.

Got in right away, great table with a great view. Service was quick, food was plentiful and we ate our fill, could have had more, but didn't want to overdo. Every dish was great.

Mixed Experiences at Paula Deen's Restaurant in Myrtle BeachMy recent visit to Paula Deen's restaurant at Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach was a journey of highs and lows. Eager to try out this establishment during lunchtime, my wife and I were first greeted by an expansive store filled with Paula Deen merchandise, from jewelry to cookware, before making our way to the dining area upstairs. The menu, surprisingly limited with only five or six items, led us to order roast, fried chicken, and catfish. The chicken was mediocre at best, while the catfish pleasantly surprised us with its flavor. However, the pot roast was a significant letdown; tough and nearly inedible, it compelled us to request a replacement dish. Thankfully, the ribs that came as a substitute were quite enjoyable. Our meal also included a variety of sides - mac & cheese, okra, coleslaw, and collard greens, part of a three-meal package with four sides. Unfortunately, the initial excitement waned when we encountered pieces of hard, old meat in the pot roast, which significantly detracted from the overall dining experience. The staff was accommodating, promptly exchanging the disappointing dish for the ribs, which proved to be a better choice.Comparing Paula Deen's restaurant to Cracker Barrel, the latter offers a superior dining experience at a more reasonable price. While some dishes at Paula Deen's, like the ribs and catfish, were enjoyable, the hit-or-miss nature of the meals and the premium pricing make it hard to justify choosing it over more consistent and value-oriented alternatives. In summary, while the visit had its moments, the overall experience felt average, leaving room for improvement in both menu variety and meal execution.

Had a great time tasting all the different options that come with their "bring the buffet to your table". We chose the catfish, chx and dumplings, mac & cheese, sweet potato, cole slaw and string beans(great). Really good peach sweet tea. I also enjoyed the dessert banana pudding. The staff really works hard at keeping the place spotless and our waitress for 5star And she was 8months pregnant! Overall a fun day watching the speed boats on the water as we ate inside. Bought a gift in the store downstairs:)Parking: Handicap curbs and access
