Just ok. You get to pick an oyster out of water and they crack it open. They you get a pearl. You can mount it or put it on a keychain. It’s $20 for them to open the pearl. They also have at home lots for cheaper than doing it in store. I would’ve done that had I known, they’re at the back of the store. Mounting the jewelry is at least $45. A keychain is $25.

My girlfriend was really happy with the black pearl that I picked for her. They have too many jewelry options to choose from. It was really good experience and we’ll definitely come back to pick a pearl again. Staff was so friendly and the store was so beautiful and organized. Worth every penny!

I’ve been coming here for 3 years and each year my girls and I pick pearls. The manager recognized me when I came in yesterday and was excited to see my girls. She let them each pick pearls for free. I ended up getting a beautiful black Pearl set into a sterling necklace and my girls each got necklaces as well. The prices were very good for sterling silver jewelry and it was an amazing experience. I will be stopping in on our next trip to Myrtle Beach. Thanks for the amazing memories for my girls!!

I recently had the chance of visiting this incredible pick a pearl store and I must say, it was an experience beyond compare! From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was greeted with warmth and treated like a valued customer. Luckily we met the manager she was also very friendly and informative throughout the process of picking our oyster!

Loved this place! My husband and I were both curious and we decided to check it out. I let him pick my oyster and I got a silver one, picked the mermaid necklace option. Very durable chain. Decently priced for the option I wanted. I'll be back soon!

This place just makes me so sad. I purchased a beautiful pearl necklace from them back in August 2021 that I absolutely loved and wore every day. Sadly it got flushed by my 2 year old a few weeks ago. I have called and spoken and left messages with staff on 5 occasions, have emailed, Facebook messaged, texted, and everything under the sun trying to reorder this necklace and I can’t get anyone senior enough to take a phone order for me to return my call. I loved this necklace so much and have conveyed that to the people I’ve spoken to. It’s really heartbreaking how unwilling everyone has been to get back in touch with me and take my order.

I was in this store on august 6th 2022 I brought 2 necklaces and 1 ring I spent almost 300 dollars . 1 they drilled holes in my two pearls for my ring they NEVER told me that I wouldn’t be able to get the jewelry wet or have it around chemicals I am a nurse I would have picked a necklace my hands are always getting wet and near chemicals . My daughter had the same thing with her necklace we would have picked a different necklace … really POOR customer service . 2 so the girl got done ringing me up and then just turned around and busied herself doing others things… my stuff was still on the counter …. No bag no nothing … it’s not like we were having a bad interaction either … no one was upset she just turned around walked further down the counter and started doing stuff I thought she was coming back she didn’t I said umm can I have a bag and a different girl said did you tell her about getting it wet ? … She said no … so they other girl came over and put my stuff in a bag and told me about the chemicals and getting it wet

Very friendly staff. I picked out a beautiful blue Pearl and had it set into a caged necklace because they said it's the safest option to not loose the Pearl/wear it everyday. I have metal allergies and the staff was very informative on telling me which settings would be best for my allergy. The cheapest setting they have is a sterling plated, which I originally was going to get but was informed it would turn my skin. I've had my necklace on everyday for 2 weeks now and it looks as good as the day I bought it. Super high quality jewelry and pearls. Will definitely be back next year with my family.

I really like my mermaid necklace and the concept is unique but the one employee was extremely pushy and borderline rude. Explained the concept when we walked in, but instead of letting us look around and take our time to deciding on a piece of jewelry we may want, she asked us every 30 seconds if we were ready yet. The store was completely empty. Stood behind the counter and followed me back and forth and stayed right in front on me as I looked at the different options and discussed them with my husband. Very off-putting and I ended up getting stern with her when she wouldn't shut up asking if I was ready yet. If it wasn't something I was excited about doing before walking in the place, we would have left without purchasing anything. When she opened my oyster, she rolled her eyes so hard her head moved with them. Appearantly I got the purple/blue mixed pearl she's "been searching for forever". She seemed really annoyed with it and even asked me if I wanted to pick a new oyster and let her have that one. She kind of ruined the whole experience for me. The other girl who put my necklace together and checked us out was nice and polite though. Visited Saturday 10/8 around noon. We were only in the store about 20 minutes total. Felt VERY rushed bc of that one employee and may have bought more if it weren't for her.

My daughter and I went to Broadway at the Beach for lunch. Huge shopping center with many shops and restaurants. We stumbled on Pick A Pearl, a very unique jewelry store. After gazing into the window because there was a sign stating “be back in 30 minutes” the store door opened and we were greeted by a friendly young lady who invited us in. We looked around and we were enchanted by the beautiful jewelries. The young lady explained the pearl’s concept of each individual picking an oyster, keeping the pearl inside, then using the pearl to make your own unique piece of jewelry. We decided to purchase necklaces. I got the lotus and my daughter got the music symbol, treble clef. Her oyster gave her a black pearl and I got a pink pearl. Both were beautifully embedded in our necklaces respectively. It was fantastic and a must visit when in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Cute store and cute concept! There are tons of cute jewelry to pick out and I love the surprise you get picking a clam… You never know what color you’re going to get! There’s also a variety of charms, bracelets, necklaces keychains and they all range of prices.

Way over priced and the chains are really cheap. I'll be spending more $$ to find something else to put the pearl and charm on. I give it 2 stars only because the lady that helped us made it fun. She explained the pearl to an 8 year old so he was excited. He found a skull head and cross bone charm to put it in.
