While headed out of Myrtle Beach yesterday to come back home to Ohio our check engine light came on in our car. We pulled in to an advanced auto parts to have the code read then our car wouldn't start, the guys at advance thought it was a starter. Being a Saturday and a holiday weekend there wasn't many car repair places open and the few that were open told us to get the car towed there and they would get to it when they could (most likely after the 4th, leaving us stranded for 3-4days in Myrtle Beach). On a last attempt we call Rock's and it was a good thing we did. Rock came to us and determined the reason the car wasn't starting was simply the battery was dead. We replaced the battery and sure enough the car started right up. He then pulled the code for the check engine light, determined that it was a very minor issue and we could drive home with no problem. We made the 12hr drive and got home just fine. Today my husband was able to get the part himself for $50 and replace it. Rock could have made us tow the car to his shop, charged us a diagnostic fee, charge for battery, charge for the part for the check engine light and charged us to install everything. However he didn't, he came to us and was honest and helped us get back home. If we ever have a problem when we are in Myrtle Beach again, Rock will be my first callService: General repairs & maintenance

This guy is the perfect example of doing great business! I was in south carolina on vacation when I got into an accident. I brought my car to him and he got right on it! He fixed the problem ans made sure all my fluids and tires were good before I got on the road! He is proof that there are still good people in the world! Highly recommend!

Took my truck there so they can installTwo upper control arms, two inner and outer tie rods, stabilizing rods, upper and lower ball joints, and two pitman arms. After He completed the job. And i drove back home i notice that the steering was hard and I took a glance at the work that he did on my truck the next day. And notice that he forgot to put in one grease fitting and grease all the fittings that needed to be grease. So i went back to him and pointed it out to him and he quickly fixed the problem.SINCERELYMr . J Gonzalez

On vacation, alternator went out. Car parts place gave me his card. He not only got my part ASAP (he found it cheaper at a different store), he had our van fixed in a couple of hours, even staying late to get the job done. Besides the work, our windshield had been cleaned, engine compartment cleaned, tires cleaned, and he was careful about keeping the inside clean when he drove it. All at a very reasonable price.

Rock is a scam artist from my personal experience! First my vehicle was towed to his lot. A few weeks still no quote I kept asking for a written estimate and he kept denying me. He never answers the phone and wanted payment for the repairs paid in full before any services were rendered. My tags were taken off of my vehicle and were caught being taken off of a personal vehicle. A week after or so my vehicle was hit on his lot or intentionally damaged. I contacted the police and agreed that if my bumper was replaced there would be no hard feelings. He got another bumper alright it was not the same color as my vehicle and was also damaged. His price seemed utterly low so I purchased the parts myself and asked his for a labor quote. When I called and asked when he will be be able to repair my truck with the new parts he was very unprofessional and screamed that he would not put the parts on my vehicle and he didn't want to repair my vehicle. I pushed my vehicle two doors down to ascot transmission where MS.denise has taken wonderful care of me. DON'T BE HIS NEXT VICTIM!
