We stayed there I called and booked room for my husband and myself and 2 older kids a baby.. was told I asked for 1 single bed.. why would I ask for a single bed for that many smh.. I cleaned that room everyday we were there and swept it and when we left I made sure beds wasn’t tore to pieces had blankets back on them and cleaned tub best I could bc it never would drain so takin a shower felt nasty and not to mention the oversized roaches laying beside the toilet.. weed blunt roaches in window seal of bathroom.. it was a non smoking room so my husband smoked at steps or by pool… next door was dope heads and prostitution goin on… fridge was rusted so bad… we stayed there last year had no issues got deposit back and all and this time they wanted to pull some bs saying smokin in room and it was more people than I had booked.. we will not stay here again and I will recommend my family and friends to not stay their again also… we left room cleaner than it was before we checked in

No refunds what so ever, requested lower level handicap, needless to say my mother that uses a wheelchair had to go up stairs which wasn't easy for her, got there no bottom rooms available unless we pay $120 more for 2 rooms, but with 2 kids and 3 adults that wasn't gonna work, pee and ashes on toilet seat,mold in coffee pot, dirt and hair everywhere, it was a hottt, are the towels and wash rags clean? They sure get u once u book online

Inexpensive yet clean you get what you pay for a little more here. They were rather strict on their guest policy however so don't bring anyone other than the main room occupants. Other than that surprisingly pleased.

The staff was sooooo awesome and friendly the room was really nice and way better then I expected for the price. We could hear the ocean from our room that’s how close to the beach we were. I went for my birthday trip and I had the best birthday ever. I will be going back very soon.

My bf took me here for my birthday weekend & as we were packing I notice something on the covers look like shit 🤢I was disgusted the maids tuck it under real tight trying to hide the nastiness instead of washing it .NEVER will I stay here again or recommend.. & they didn’t give us our deposit back

Nice place to stay rooms were clean the pool was clean and the staff was all super nice! The Ocean beach and boardwalk was right across the street so it was a great location and the price was pretty good too!

It's what I expected. A less expensive hotel, with a pool. I booked months ago and got a great deal. It was perfect. We brought what we needed to be comfortable (chairs, extra towels, etc). The staff was wonderful, anything we needed they were there to accommodate. The coffee machine in our room quit working and they quickly gave me a replacement. Clean rooms, wifi worked fine, the ocean was across the street. What else do you want?!

The room is OK if you are doing maybe a one or tonight stay if it’s just you or one other person maybe. But I will say this hotel needs to invest in some thicker towels and washcloths and the ones that are in the bathroom. Bathrooms were dingy and you can tell they were old so you need to upgrade the linens and also the refrigerator on the inside was rusty and it just looked nasty and not presentable if somebody want to put food in there to keep cool so that needs to be handled. But the bathroom was OK besides the towels and washcloths being worn out and dingy looking so it don’t take much to invest in some new towels and washcloths cause you should be able to look at those and tell they are worn out. but overall, the room was OK. It just needs some minor improvements.

Room was clean. Lady and young man at the front desk was super friendly and chill. Perfect proximity to the beach and boardwalk and restaurants. I would recommend this property to everybody

Mrs.Lena is the Best!! Room is clean, Staff is friendly and helpful.I L.O.V.E. Royal Palace if you have ever stayed anywhere in Myrtle Beach before then you know,,, The Only Hotel or Motel on the entire strip that is clean and roach and Rodent Fee is Royal Palace . And they are the most affordable. You don't even have to use booking .com to still save money on the going Rate. And an added bonus 🙂🙂🙂🙂 they keep you safe!! If you are traveling Alone or with your family. They are not like the other hotels they honestly keep the begging bums and the riffraff Away. every time I visit it feels like I'm coming home to be with family..🥰🥰🥰🥰

So i read reviews and was a little worried. We got there they lady was super sweet and even took vwry good care of us the room was exactly what qe needed perfect location. I even watched her walk around just making surerooms were ok the reviews daid they had bugs THEY DID NOT so many people have come through here bad mouthing such a good place of coarse its not fancy but i didnt need fancy and this lady went out her way to make our trip amazing
