So when I got to my room my kids were looking around and found a bottle of vodka. So the house keeping barely clean up and I found wrappers in the other rooms. And sometimes the the elevator takes forever. But the beach is beautiful.

I booked for five nights and it was only the first night was good, but unfortunately the rest of the night's were very horrible experience because the hotel withheld the full cost of the stay once I checked in, after that they hold all other amounts remaining in my bank account due to an irresponsible error on the part of the hotel and they did not justify the error except with a word of “we are sorry.” To return the reserved amounts, it will take approximately 10 working days, a stay that will never be repeated, and I will not return it in this place. My vacation with my family turned into a real disaster.
my stay was 5 nights, I visited the front desk 4 times because they kept holding money from my account until my balance = nothing.
I didn't mention the other stay issues because it's not comparable.

We had an issue with our reservation and this awesome attendant Shane was able to help us out and was extremely helpful and nice.
We are loving our stay and super recommend.
Thanks again to Shane for making our stay much more enjoyable.

The staff was amazing, but the rooms need a deep cleaning and major updating.
I don’t understand why you all have reserved parking for valet, but no valet. Parking was a nightmare!!

Had an issue with our room but it was fixed in a timely manner and the staff was very nice! The hotel bar was great, parking was easy and our room was good/ clean. Beach was a minute or two walk away. Great value for location and everything overall.

Our condo was horrible. The floors were disgusting, our dishwasher, not only did it not work, but it had water and food that had been sitting there for weeks (as per our repair person that tried their best to help us after Hilton putting us off for days), and to top it off, our power was turned off while we were there because the owner of the condo failed to pay the power bill. Will never rent from Hilton at this location again. Very disappointed in the Hilton brand at this time.

There were many issues with our stay here:
1. Condos do not look as advertised (see attached pics). They are poorly cleaned. After complaining about a dirty room and mold smell, I was relocated. The headboard in the 2nd condo fell as I was making the bed for my child to sleep in Management informed me that maintenance was on the way but after 2 hours, no one came. When I called back at midnight, I was told both management and the maintenance worker were gone.
2. I complained with the front desk the next morning and was shown 2 more rooms. All of them look the same (not as advertised). Daquan, the front desk manager, was able to get us to room 1901 which was similar to the advertised rooms, however, the toilet ran loudly nonstop. I understand condos are privately owned, but if this establishment is part of a Hilton chain/brand, it should represent Hilton quality.
3. It takes forever to get through for service. The phone rings and rings. Shouldn’t residents be able to make contact with the front desk quickly? Why do we need to go through an operator?
4. The elevators are hit and miss which is an issue for such a large establishment with high floors.
Rooms: Dated and poorly cleaned
Nearby activities: Amenities at Kingston Plantation were great!

We booked this condo because on the Hilton property site for Royale Palms it showed a renovated room that appeared to be updated. We stayed at this property a few times years ago and I can tell you the furniture/tv/ bedspreads/couches are unchanged since 10 years ago. They updated carpet in the hallways in the rooms and that’s about it. If you book this property keep in mind the pictures online are not what the condos look like currently. We saw multiple rooms and they all looked similar to ours. It’s unfortunate they haven’t done any updates bc the location and property could be very nice. There was even a leak in the Hilton side going out to the pool. We complained because we felt like what we booked is not what we received and got 1 complimentary night. As a Titanium member through Marriott we thought we would give Hilton some business and not sure we would again.
Food & drinks: We did have food/ drinks at the beach bar and Dylan at the pool seemed to enjoy his job and was friendly.

Update (5/20/24) - received a call from the Manager, Mel. They refunded my parking and one night for the issues I experienced and I greatly appreciate that. These rooms are often privately owned, so it looks like this one fell through the cracks. Would give them another chance with a different room.
Initial review:
Royale Palms Condominiums - This place gives Hilton a bad name. I was here for work travel from Monday afternoon to Wednesday morning and wish I had stayed elsewhere (Diamond member). I parked in the parking deck that's next to the building and was charged $13.99 twice for a total of $27.98 to park my car for 2 nights.
Went to check in and had to walk down a long hallway to the Hilton Myrtle beach desk, then proceed back down the long hallway to go up to my room at the Royale Palms. I was in room 2302H. Upon arriving to my room I had issues opening the door with the keycard in the old door system. Each time I came to the room I had to try at least 5 times to enter and remove the card before it worked. The door hinge mechanism was also broken so the door was extremely heavy and hard to open, and slow to close and latch. I also had issues connecting to the wifi and had to call the service desk to get it resolved. The log-in instructions and password were confusing and didn't work.
The room was outdated. Then I noticed the shower doors were off the tracks which made the doors inoperable. After some adjusting I was able to get the doors back on track so they could be opened. The room was somewhat clean, but I found leftover candy wrappers in the bedside dresser, and a hair clip on the balcony. Not to mention all of the pillows were different and one was stained and yellow. The last night I attempted to watch TV only to find out someone had taken the batteries out of the remote. If I had more time, I would have complained and changed rooms or received a partial refund but I was running from meeting to meeting and didn't have time to deal with it.

We stayed there on April 4th and had a wonderful time and it started at check-in. Natalie was tremendous!! She is an asset to your hotel. We had a great view from our room and breakfast was fantastic. Definitely stay there again!!
