Recommended highly by the locals around NM. We gave them a shot, and it all worked out well beyond our expectations. Chris helped me get a beautiful firm Queen bed and a gorgeous set of lamps. Then we found a very well-made sofa in a doble chase design. This was the most comfortable sofa we have ever purchased. We will be back because they are understanding and had our furniture delivered and set up with professionalism. Thank you!

We responded to an ad for end-of-summer polywood rockers for $199. We drove down from North Carolina to buy them. Once we arrived, there was only one rocker on the salesfloor. Our salesman, Kurt, told us they had sold all of the $199 rockers, including the one we could see on the floor. He told us he could order two $399 rockers and offered us a discounted price of $325. He said they would be delivered to our home in 2-4 weeks. We paid in full. Four weeks later, I called and asked about the rockers. The man who answered told me I needed to talk to Kurt and that he would call me back. When he didn't, I called the store and asked for a manager. Genevieve told me that she saw our order on the day we placed it and she knew it wouldn't come in 2-4 weeks. In fact, they hadn't even ordered it yet, four weeks after we placed the order. She said that Kurt is her "problem child" and that she often has to handle misunderstandings between him and customers. She said that she is the only girl on the team and she has to keep the boys in check. I find that to be incredibly unprofessional. But, here's my main issue, even if Kurt doesn't understand how the process works and he didn't know no one would order our furniture (??), Genevieve says she saw the problem that day. As the office manager, she could have called us herself, that day, to tell us that the chairs would not be ordered for who knows how long? In addition, she told me that the chair we saw that day was still on the floor. In fact, it is available for $199 according to Genevieve's current ad? Our money was refunded in full. We will not be returning to Seaboard Bedding and Furniture.

One of the best, if not the best, shopping and customer service experiences I've ever had. I think the name of the salesperson who helped us was Brent. My 19-year-old daughter was moving from out of state to go school in Myrtle Beach and I had only 2 days to help her furnish her apartment and get her settled in. After reading reviews, I had a list of furniture places to check out and we started at Seaboard Bedding and Furniture. We saw a couple of bar stools that were on clearance that were perfect for the kitchen island, so we grabbed those for a great price. We also looked at beds and couches, but I wanted to comparison shop. We returned to Seaboard for a bed. It was a floor model and a little banged up (I didn't even notice), and the sales person gave us a discount. My daughter fell in love with a couch, but I didn't want to pay that much so we went to the back room clearance section again and found a couch there with a price I liked. Of course the bed and couch needed to be delivered and they were very accommodating as my daughter wasn't sure about her school schedule and when the furniture could be delivered. She had to change the delivery time at least once and they were very nice about it. I didn't realize she would also need a foundation for the foam mattress we got at Walmart until after the bed was delivered and I was back home in another state. I called the store about getting the foundation and again, they were very helpful and quoted me a very fair price. It turns out I should have probably gotten the mattress and foundation from them in the first place, but I thought I was saving myself money by going elsewhere, but that wasn't the case.

Live out of state and had to furnish a condo and only had 3 days to get it done, Chris the rep sent me images of samples ahead of time before our arrival. When we arrived he gave us full attention and suggestions and we made our purchase in under 45 minutes, he also squeezed us in our delivery window so we could make our return home worry free...outstanding service...Highly recommend.

I had a bad experience with The saleman Kevin T.. Kevin had placed a bedroom set on market place, he was in communication with us about the set, we had told him we would be in the following day and that we were coming from 2 hours away. We'll apparently the store sold the bedroom set. Kevin could not send us a message saying the bedroom set was Sold?! Little did Kevin know we would have probably purchase a couch and patio furniture also. Kevin and the store lost a big sale because Kevin's communication was not professional. I would not recommend working with Kevin T. We felt like it was a ploy to get the customer in the store. The Manager was standing right there and did not even bother to step in and fix the situation. Very disappointed in the service we received.

My wife and cannot speak highly enough of Seaboard Bedding and Furniture. Brent has been great to work with throughout our many visits to the store. They were recommended to us by our realtor. On top of great prices, their customer service has been outstanding.

I would have put more stars but due to the ill knowledgeable salesman, Brent, I will never be spending another dollar in this establishment that does not value their customers! I had to pay $160 in delivery fees the last two days! Due to the salesman selling me a bed that was way too high for a disabled short person. Then when I went to try to have them fix the problem, another salesman of theirs tries telling the manager I didn't want to pay! NEVER will this place get my hard earned money again! Rip offs! And your salesman suck,for them to treat me the way they did is ridiculous!! But Brent sure did get his commission off me. Save your money and go somewhere where they appreciate their customers this establishment does not! Customers should most of the time be right especially when I spent thousands of dollars here. The treatment I received from this place was horrible!!! And you guys made a lot of money from me! Whoever owns this establishment should be embarrassed the way their salesman are doing and treating people. Your employees are are horrid.

Just purchased a bedroom set with Chris Spano of Seaboard Furniture. Great product, great turn around time, great customer relations, great ccommunication, great delivery, great all around company. Very pleased and we highly recommend Seaboard Bedding and Furniture.

Bought damaged furniture and offered me 50 off of a 648 piece! Has not picked up and I want a new replacement. Sales man has been nothing but uncooperative from the beginning. Do not advise going there. Had to get him to fix *****. Overcharged from what another salesman was selling same thing on. Had to wait longer than told and then the bedroom chest is gouged on both sides ! Horrible customer service and still waiting on the guy to take care and pick it back up!

We’ve worked with Chris two times while shopping for furniture for our new condo in Myrtle Beach. Both times were easy and pricing very fair. The second time he went above and beyond to get he a king mattress delivery on a certain day on hehe short notice. AND removal of old mattresses and foundations. Being out of state and having someone like Chris to depend on is priceless. We will always come back to seaboard bedding and furniture for our future furniture needs as well as recommend themTo our family and friends. Thanks for making our lives easier!!

The sofa I purchased had a foul odor that made my house smell of bowels. I notified the salesperson, Brent. He arranged to deliver a "new" sofa to replace it. Upon receiving the second sofa, I noticed a similar foul odor which intensified over a few days as the weather became humid. I notified Brent within 6 days and was told that I must have a sensitive nose, that all furniture comes from the same storage area, and I could not return the sofa. I asked about purchasing a more expensive sofa. After Brent spoke to the owner, he relayed the message that I am not welcome there, cannot purchase anything else from their store and that I had to shop at one of the other 40 furniture stores in Myrtle Beach. They picked up the sofa and refunded the money. If their intent was to provide offensive, poor customer service with racist undertone, congratulations! Job Well Done! I went to America's Furniture Warehouse instead and received caring, exceptional service with 1 day delivery.

I was told my out furniture would have a 20 year warranty. I even purchase a higher priced item to ensure I had a 20 year warranty. After purchase was made, I inquired about information regarding the 20 year warranty. They said just call them at the store and they would honor it. Not good enough for me so I asked for them to send something to me in writing. They said they would give me the manufacturers contact info. But, after three or four times requesting that information they never provided any warranty information. Almost feels like a scam artist. Therefore I'll never buy anything from them again.
