My husband and I checked in on 04/13/2024.
Right away we noticed the parking situation was terrible. If you don't back into the spot you are basically blocked in. the gate leading from the parking lot to the rooms/pool stays open to the public all night. The last at check in was very polite. She walked us to our room and explained the Rules, etc. Then gave us our key. About 10 minutes after we laid down for bed we heard someone shaking our doorknob violently. We brushed it off thinking someone just had the wrong room. After another 10 minutes or so, someone was at our door again. It startled us so my husband got and up walked over to the peephole and saw a woman standing outside yelling at someone on her phone. We had just assumed she just got the room numbers mixed up. But we went back to sleep. About 20 minutes after that the doorkno shakes violently again without a knock, as if someone was trying to break in. Before we even got to the door it opened even though we had both locks on the door locked from the inside. We were obviously frightened that the main office was closed at this point, and someone else also had a copy of our room key. When the door opened all the way we saw that it was the lady that had checked us in from the front desk. She was standing with the lady from before. The front desk lady apologized immediately for opening the door because she said she "thought the room was empty." Everyone was confused. The front desk lady finally said, "I think you have the wrong room." Then the other guest that was standing with her got a defensive tone and reiterated that "we were in the wrong room, and that this was her room." Still confused, I say to the front desk lady "You put us in this room earlier tonight?" Before she could respond the other guest immediately jumped in yelling at my husband and I how we are in her room, and that she had already been in and out of the room earlier that day. That she had groceries in the car, and that she had been on the phone with the owner trying to get into this room for the last hour. the lady from the front desk didn't say anything. I asked her "I don't know what you are expecting us to do?" She responded with "well I guess there was a mix up and you are in the wrong room." She didn't ask us to move rooms. She just stood there staring at us. So I just said "look we were just asleep. You just came into our room unwarranted and woke us up. I dont know what you are wanting us to do." All she said was okay in a disappointed tone, and turned to the other guest and apologized to her! As if she was making it our fault that this other guest couldn't have this room instead of owning her own mistake. The other guest was cussing the front desk lady out as they walked off. We could still hear her right outside our window for the next 30 minutes cussing and yelling about her having to wait and that she should have already been in our room. It made me feel so vulnerable and paranoid that there is now unnecessary tension between me and another guest. I hardly slept through the night. I've never felt unsafe in an airbnb until this happened. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here. If the front desk lady would have come to our door alone, and knocked and said she made a mistake with booking rooms and asked us if we would be willing to move, I would have said yes. It would have been inconvenient, but I have no problem complying when someone makes an honest mistake. But unfortunately she didn't knock on our door because she had the other guest with her which she had no business bringing her along in the first place. She used the key and just walked in because she was putting on a innocent act for the other guest to make it appear as if she thought there was no one inside when she knew there was. By doing this she created friction between us and another guest to keep the blame off of herself. Which is incredibly selfish and unprofessional.

Finding a side by side 2 room deal for one stay (2 nights) was perfect. Especially traveling with older teens. Located in a quiet area not far from the beach. Starbucks is close by. The rooms are very nice and clean as if nobody has ever stayed in them; Like a new studio apartment. Clean pool. Nice community area that feels like a home away from home.

Buyer Beware!!!!!! This place is the Epitome of false advertisement. The place looks nothing like the pictures online. The pool was green and the walls of the building look as like it was in an earthquake. I booked what I thought was a hotel, this is a motel and it's in a neighborhood that looks and felt sketchy. It was my husband's birthday. Our son was sick with covid and so we decided to cancel the booking. I still have not received my money back. We came down to the hotel to see if we could get our money back and the lady up front tried to charge my card 200 dollars to check in because she said the owner charges 200 to everyone who checks in. But i told her we cancelled and want our money back. She charged my card without my knowledge and afain on the 1st of April i have the receipt. I received an alert from my bank that she did that while we were standing there. These people are scam artist. An i will never use Booking again. We never checked in. We still have not received our money back. I have booked Wyndham,
Holiday Inn and Dunes and never had to pay 200 for damages before i checked in the lady up front even tried to bait me by saying she will lower the price at check inn to 100 dollars. I repeatedly told her i just want my money back. This was march 28 and i still have not received a dime. Please people listen to what I am saying this is not a place for kids or anyone. Do not spend a dime in this scam.
Noteworthy details: Spend your money where you will be safe and the service is 5 star.

Did a room inspection right away only to find cockroaches crawling behind the bed, the pool was closed up due to non working phone line, half the property had no power and smelled like a musty can of tuna and they refused to refund my credit card l

I never got to stay. I booked and my baby got sick the day of. I canceled before check in. They had already charged my card the full price of room and an unauthorized and not listed extra 200.00. When I tried calling I could never get in touch with them. They claimed to booking.com that they were "busy". They are scammers and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Poor business, horrible!!!! I wish I could leave a negative star rating

The pictures made this place look so cute but don't be fooled. I booked the room but when I arrived and inspected the property I was very disappointed. The pool was filthy green with leaves floating in it. The room looked like they made an effort to update but the furniture was falling apart. When I lifted the sheets I found hair under the freshly made sheets which made me feel like the linens had not been changed. There was no way I could let my wife and kids stay here. When I informed the woman at the desk that I would like to cancel she said I had to go through the booking service that I used. I told her and another girl that was working about my issues. The girl apologized and said they were waiting on their pool person to come. The woman then commented "that's why we don't charge $300 or $400 like the rest of the hotels in the area". When I tried to get refunded through booking.com they said the person that they spoke with claimed that the pool was cleaned daily and the beds were changed after each night. They ended up charging me a cancellation fee of $98. (I hope it was worth it) Don't stay with these dishonest people in their run down little charming money pit. Safe the pool for the ducks but don't let your children swim in there!
