Had a weird smell... almost like mildew but room and beds were clean and comfy. Breakfast was good with a decent variety for adults and kids. I've stayed here before and will return when I'm in the area! Our room slept 6 comfortably.Walkability: Walk to medeivil times

The hotel was ok, breakfast was not very appealing. One day they didn’t serve at all. The rooms were just fine. I enjoy having a full kitchen and separate bedroom.

Omg where do I begin? Let me start by saying my family and I absolutely love staying at a Staybridge hotel. We’re a large family and like to stay somewhere we can get a free hot breakfast and can cook in our room and this hotel brand provides that and more! However, I must say if this were our first experience at a Staybridge hotel we would more than likely not be returning to any. This particular hotel was very disappointing and in my opinion need to close, remodel and start fresh! This is a long story but I’ll try and keep it short. First, we had cleanliness issues with the bathrooms not just in our room but in all four room options that were given to us to try and accommodate for the inconvenience. Our keys didn’t work half the time of our stay. The furniture is old and shabby looking, the fridge had visible dirt on the outside and brown liquid was leaking from somewhere in the freezer. Bathroom sink had a leak. The beds were horrible. You could feel the springs in the mattress and was not comfortable at all. The dining/lounge area was not clean from the time we got there. Food all over the floors, tables were wet and sticky and trash receptacles were not pleasant to look at. The food was horrible! Usually the breakfast at Staybridge is really, really good. Some of the staff was friendly; well let’s just say everyone at the front desk was nice and helpful.Overall, this was not what we’re use to at a Staybridge. Very disappointing and I wished we left and went somewhere else. We stayed in the 1 Queen 2 Doubles 2 Bedrm Suite for 4 nights including Christmas. Also, the exterior of the hotel looked like it was falling apart in some areas. Please redo this hotel and make it fitting to actually be and wear the name Staybridge or better yet meet the standards of an IHG hotel.Rooms: Very outdated, old shabby furniture, very basic white fridge that was dirty inside and out. Beds were horrible. You could hear and feel the springs in the mattress. Bath tubs had hair and not properly cleaned in both.Food & drinks: Breakfast was horrible! Well the grits were very thick and stiff. The scrambled eggs were salty

Great place. I would absolutely stay again. Close to the airport and all the golf courses we visited. The only knock I have is that whoever stayed in my room before me obviously had a dog. Stayed for 4 nights and it took 2 for the smell to leave. Otherwise it was great.

The Staybridge Suites is not a bad option if you want to stay close to the airport, even though it's not that much closer than some of the hotels on the beach. Rooms are fine, but feel a bit dated. Staff at the front desk were friendly and efficient!

The feint desk people were very nice. The room was decent, and I loved the setup of two rooms and a living room. But the water was an issue the whole time we were there. At one point, it was off for a large chunk of the day. We could not take a shower, which delayed what we were doing. It definitely interfered with the way our trip went.

The hotel was in a good location. I have visited MB several times, staying at Ocean view resorts. We chose Staybridge because it's pet friendly. We wanted a handicapped room, but on the day of our arrival, we were told that the first floor rooms had flooded and not available. So we were given a regular room. The room was not for the handicapped. The room was dusty and due to the lack of housekeeping employees, we had to set our trash and used towels in the hall. During the day and night, the staff would come and pick up and leave fresh towels in a bag. We asked about the housekeeping staff and were told only 5 housekeeping were on staff. Kudos to our housekeeper. Whatever we asked, she did. I would stay again, but I would definitely need the handicapped room. The pool and jacuzzi were relaxing and just what I needed.

This hotel was ok. The rooms were clean, but for the whole 3 nights I was there, they struggled to provide clean towels to people's rooms. I also needed the body wash replaced in my room, and was walking behind the workers as they were told they had to go to my room for that service. One of them said "good for you" when the person at the front desk said my room was out of body wash. So, rude staff, nice rooms, and an ok view. Good enough for a quick weekend trip, but that's all.

I never write reviews, but I think this one is warranted. I was a little worried when we were planning our trip after reading all the reviews; however, I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel accommodations. The hotel is a bit older, so I assume most don't take this into consideration when they write reviews, but overall it is in good shape for the price point, it was a great deal.We had a family reunion last weekend in Myrtle Beach. We were looking for a mid-range, affordable hotel that could accommodate our large group. I worked with the hotel on our block of rooms. They were wonderful. We even had a BBQ and game night in a private meeting room which was set up for us with tables, chairs, etc. to make it nice. They had it all ready for us a no additional charge.Larry and Tony were exceptional to our family. They checked in on us often to make sure we had everything we needed. The airport is just a few minutes away and the beach is less than 10 minutes away. Perfect location. We normally stay at the Marriott or Hilton which is twice the price, but for our event, the price point, and the accommodations, this was a great deal.I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for an affordable option rather than staying on the beach at a much higher price.

I’ll note my only negative thought first: a couple of the napkin holders were empty at breakfast. It’s the only complaint I can come up with. This hotel is phenomenal - friendly staff, clean rooms, and great amenities. The breakfast is wonderful, the pool is clean and beautiful, the property is well kept and great for evening walks. The dog walking spot in the back is really nice and has a pond view - the dogs loved all the smells and sights. The human children can’t wait to come back to MB and will DEFINITELY stay here again.Rooms: Clean and comfortable!Walkability: Nice little walking trail behind the property, mainly for dogs but the whole place is walkable. There’s a nice fenced-in patio beside the pool.Food & drinks: Great breakfast - there’s something for everyone.Noteworthy details: Clean rooms, very nice staff, and all around a fantastic location.

I picked this hotel because I knew the hotels close to the beach would be full of kids. Many more adults and working people than children. The rooms were nice, nothing special. We purchased a sheet to go over the couch because it was a little worn and we did not know if is was clean. The staff was nice, and we took advantage of the breakfast, but not the evening social.Rooms: Nothing special. We actually departed a day early because the bed was too firm. The room was quiet for the most part. I am not accustomed to being on the first floor, so the noise from the room above me was not something I deal with. It wasn't so bad that it disturbed us. The couch was worn and dirty. We purchased a sheet from Walmart to cover them. Wifi was fast.Nearby activities: Medievil Times Dinner & Tournament is in walking distance. Other major attractions are a 10 minute drive (Helo Adventures, Myrtle Waves Water Park, Hollywood Wax Museum and Broadway at the Beach. Walmart and Best Buy are close.Food & drinks: Free breakfast such as Oatmeal, Grits, Eggs, Breakfast meats, Waffles.
