New ownership is horrible. Sorry, but it's true. They keep the air so cold and then sell blankets for $15. The cost of the concessions have gone up significantly. They no longer carry plain salt, only dyed popcorn salt. They no longer give trays for children to share popcorn from. They are going to nickle and dime every customer. No more half price Tuesdays, either! You get $1.50 off instead. We will be making the drive further north from now on for our group movie theater nights.

They switched owners now everything has went up double in price. The concession food is ridiculously high. Almost $30 for a medium popcorn and medium drink. They no longer have half price tuesdays. The “discount tuesdays” are $1.50 off. Wow

Run of the mill movie theatre, the seats are a bit beat up.

Very comfortable seating. Clean. Parking is challenging but the theater itself is well maintained.

Got schooled at the ticket counter because the lady didn't like me screen shooting 2 QR codes.
Absolutely worst 3d I've ever seen. Dark and crappy glasses with a fog in them. Waste of time and money with attitude at the ticket counter.

VERY , VERY COLD IN THEATERS ! We visit this theater 2-3 times per month but they are making it hard to do so . They keep the temperature at probably about 65° , maybe lower ( might have something to do with the fact they sell blankets for $15 ) and it is nearly unbearable to sit in there for 2 + hours . Lots of people bring blankets and coats so it is obvious they are very aware of this . You should not have to bring a blanket with you to watch a movie ! Just the fact that they sell blankets tells you that they know what they are doing . Why would you purposefully make your guests uncomfortable ?!

This is a very nice theater and the prices were better than we are used to.

Was nice, everything about the theatre was great. Only thing I didn’t like is the seats were very close to each other and there were some rough crowds inside. Other than that…good.

I’m leaving more than one star only because we had nice experience there before! But today was the exception! We went to watch K-pop movie with kids, they were very excited. But the group of teenagers with tree adults ruined the whole thing. They were screaming like gorillas the whole time, I couldn’t hear a word from the movie! I guess you can imagine how loud they were! Nobody did anything about it. The staff should have done something, they have security there. Nobody took any measures and that group ruined our day. I left feeling annoyed and frustrated instead of having a good time there.

Went here for the 1st time on Sunday August 10th 2025 with my mom and aunt. It was a rainy day in myrtle beach, and we decided to see the movie F1. Grand 14 is also called Stone Theatres, and is located in Market commons in Myrtle Beach. A great pro about having 14 theaters is that movies may stay longer in the theatre- for instance F1 came out in June, and it was still playing here. Oh, and parking, there is a nearby garage that we parked at, and it was free! (Devile parking garage) Before arriving here, My mom signed up for their rewards program, which offers discounts on tickets, and discounts on consessions, and probably various other things. Each trip to the movies earns you points, and one can get points by both purchasing tickets and concessions. This was explained by the cashier who served us popcorn and soda, who was pleasant. We also brought tickets in advance so we didn't have to wait in line and just went right in. The ticket line is just outside the theater. Before getting concessions, we got our seats in the theater. seats were comfy. Leather seats that rocked. Didn't recline like cinemark though! Then we got concessions - they have everything from ice cream, beer, soda, wine, nachos, candy like sour patches, worms, raisonetts, and of course popcorn, and soda! They also were selling popcorn buckets as well. Cashier was also very pleasant and showed us how to use the app, as well as explain the above things i mentioned. we got a popcorn and a soda, with a reasonable price too! Overall enjoyed the movie. Oh and the restrooms are clean, and easy to find from the theatre. Hope to be back another time!

Love Stone Theatres at Market Common! Big one for sure and the staff is very friendly and helpful. This summer we have been couple times. We definitely will see another soon. Go see a movie!
