Took our failing 20+ year old cat for euthanasia. The staff and the entire process were second to none.

Very friendly and professional staff. They are very good with our animals. They really seem to be compassionate and helpful no matter the reason for a visit

Dr. Bishop was great and very knowledgeable. The hospital staff are very friendly, welcoming, professional and more than helpful to my needs. I was a walk-in patient and was able to have my Guinea Pig seen quickly. Let alone how hard it is to find an exotic veterinarian in this area, especially one that I was able to walk-in and have my pet treated. And Dr. Bishop took excellent care of my Guinea Pig! I highly recommend the VCA Animal Hospital.

I had to go to the emergency vet due to an eye issue with my dog, Nugget. Nugget is okay and although there was a long wait which is typical at an emergency vet- the Doctor was so kind and explained everything. They have texted me to check on Nugget since his appointment and when I called to schedule the follow up they again answered my questions and texted me a message to send a photo of my dog’s eye since I was still concerned. The compassion and care is 5 star.

The most helpful and considerate staff. Handled both of my dogs with no issues and got me in and out in a timely manner. Very organized here.

We want to give a big thank you to Dr. Bishop and all the staff at VCA Palmetto Animal Hospital on Hwy. 501. Myrtle Beach,SC. They were kind and compassionate to our 15 year old dog that fractured his leg in two places. After X-rays and honest conversation with Dr. Bishop we were given plenty of time to make that hard decision no owner ever wants to make. We stayed with him until he passed over the Rainbow Bridge . RIP Gresham. Don’t hesitate to bring your pet there for care. Thank you all again during this difficult time for us. ????????

Absolutely grossly over priced!!! This world has enough neglected animals and this place wants to charge you for blood work and exam 250. Then wants to charge 800 to 1200 to nueter your animals. 1400 for teeth cleaning. Disgusting

Very expensive. Evidently on weekends they have temp doctors and I had an $800 poor experience with the one I had. If I'm paying that much don't tell me you dont know what's wrong or "it's one of those things." Turned out to be constipation on a revisit. But she "didnt know."

Brought in a kitten with concern for worms after spotting white in his stool and him having constantly runny problems. They absolutely affirmed it wasn’t worms and just diarrhea, not even a week later there’s quite literally worms spilling out of his butt. Thank you so much for charging me 300$ for nothing.

Amazingly efficient. We were in a room within 10 minutes, paid and out at 40 minutes. From tech to vet, all were wonderful and caring. Bill was actually paid in the exam room, so no crowded desk or waiting room.Prices reasonable. I was very pleased.

I called yesterday to make an appointment for my injured dog. While on the way to pick her up, I could not get her in the car by myself (she's a pit bull) because of her weight and injury. I called to let the office know I'd be a few minutes late, but I only lived 10 minutes away. Once I got there, she said because I was over 10 minutes late my dog could not be seen. My dog was loudly crying in the (empty) waiting room. I understand lateness and what it does to a business's schedule, but I called, there was an empty waiting room, and my dog was clearly in pain. I have taken my dogs here before but never again. Whoever was up front on 11/16/23 at 3:10 pm was just heartless and didn't try to even offer any alternatives to help. I'd rather spend more money going elsewhere.
