“When we had our gas propane tank installed, everything went smoothly, no complaints other than it cost a lot of money, but who isn’t going to complain about money.
After a boy six months, the weather got cold out. We started using the gas fireplace and only the fireplace. We probably used it about 8 hours total. After that we needed a delivery because the blue tooth meter said we used 20 gallons for 8 hours.
I called Palmetto Propane and explained to them the situation, that the only conclusion was a leak.
They transferred me to another woman who told me that they were not sure what they were going to do other than to send someone to check the connections. The repair man came out and told me that it was a bad regulator. He was very nice and put a new regulator on.
When I called Palmetto Propane back to discuss reimbursement, the woman who handles that department still could not give me an answer.
They should just eliminate her job, completely useless. They told me the decision has to be made by a manager. Well, a week or more later, the manager finally called me and reassured me that they would reimburse me all that lost propane.
They stuck to their word. It may have seemed like I jumped through hoops to get this done when this was just how they do things.
It nice to know you have an honest gas provider not looking to cut corners and take advantage of a customer.
