Ben, the blonde man with the beard at the North Augustan location, is one of the kindest employees I've ever met at the post office. Anytime people start to line up he moves as quickly as he can and lets everyone know what the wait time is and apologizes. He's always friendly, always actively working, and even made a comment about how he felt so bad that sometimes he sees me squat on the floor when there is a long wait. He said that although sometimes there are not enough people working there, he tries to go as quickly as he can to make us all comfortable. He remembers people's faces and names, and is just generally very enjoyable to interact with. I wanted to leave this review for him so that he is given the recognition he deserves. Thanos is also a wonderful employee at this location. He's professional, hardworking, and helped me with a challenging location issue one time!

Claimed they dropped package. Watched video. Flat out lie. Also waiting for another package and saw they tried to deliver but couldn't. Watched video and that's another lie.

My package stuck in this facility for days. No expected delivery date posted. Bad experience. You all should not ever consider putting your package through this place.

I had a passport appointment today and was helped by Stacie, who was absolutely wonderful! She took my photo and even retook it without hesitation when I wasn’t happy with the first one. She was kind, patient, and made the entire process feel smooth and stress-free. You can tell she genuinely cares about helping people and doing her job well.
There were a couple of things to keep in mind for future visitors that are totally not Stacie’s fault—the lobby has no chairs, which she explained is because one was stolen. So I’d recommend bringing your own chair if you might need to sit while waiting. Also, it was pretty hot in there, so a portable fan or cold drink wouldn’t hurt either.
We arrived on time for our appointment but still had to wait about 10 minutes to be seen. That said, once we were helped, Stacie made up for any inconvenience with her professionalism and friendly attitude.
Thank you, Stacie—you’re a star and USPS is lucky to have you!

What are these ppl doing with all the missing, undelivered mail? I have mailed my taxes, went inside for extra security, check never cleared. Had to stop payment on that check, wrote a new check and it, too, has yet to show up. The IRS for our region is in Charlotte,NC so I know it doesn't take but a few days to clear. My husband is having the same problem with his checks as well. Does this location have a big Fema bin they sling parcels of mail to be processed by someone else? Where are all this mail with payments going?????

Young lady who processed our passport application on 12/28/2024-12PM messed up with my son's application. we gave her everything State Department would need, but she failed to deliver as she should be. we had to send all those documents again, caused delays and we still not receive the his passport. She should not be doing if she is not good at it/trained for this.

This post office is horrible as far as customer service and general kindness. I have lived all over the country and this is the worst post office staff I’ve ever met. It’s turned from an experience my kids love to hating the post office. They have taken every ounce of joy and fun out of a trip there. They are unkind in every way possible and make you feel like a major inconvenience to them. Instead of explaining a situation and being kind, eyes are rolled and heavy sighs and ride tones are used. I want to cry after every visit here. Take your post office business to any other branch area, you’ll be treated far better.

This post office is terribly rude. They are understaffed, I understand that. Attitudes and demeanor are absolutely awful. They are unkind and make you feel like an inconvenience. There are two kind employees, a male with red hair and an older female with curly hair. I have started using other post offices in Augusta and Aiken instead of going to this place due to the absolute rudeness. It’s a service industry and it’s not hard to be kind.

Correct hours not listed online. Post office DOES not open when the way they do. Now 10 people in line it’s 8:15 and not open. Site repeated people knocking on doors they refuse to open .

While I have never had an issue with those that work within the post office, they have always been very helpful their mail carriers are terrible. On numerous occasions I have had parcels delivered late claiming no access or never delivered that according to their informed delivery system were out for delivery. I have never had issue with my mail until I moved to this town and it has been nothing but terrible since.

Dropped off several cards, and they have not gotten to their destination. Mom's Day, Birthday cards, etc... I even placed them inside the post office Dropbox.

This is the most unprofessional place that does not help you at all when it WAS THEIR FAULT and they said it was!! To loosing my package. Did not help me at all and gave me a number that was supposed to be one of the managers numbers so that he could help me track down my package, the number was a computer that took me no where. When confronted they kept saying to file a claim online which did not work and they knew it but they kept saying they couldn’t do anything about it even though this was all their fault. I went back and forth with them for the 30 days the Mail gives you to claim the lost package which was and is worth $160!!!! They told my vendor they had already paid me back my $160 which the y also lied about. The boss there not sure what her name is was told to help us and all she did was walked by various times and laugh until she was confronted after waiting 40 minutes on her to which she said she does not know anything??? So does she not know her job ? Why work there then if you don’t know anything. THIEFS, RUDE, AND LIARS!!!! This all took place from April till May of this year. The package had gold dipped jewelry toys and other things to resell!!!
