Understaffed in the pharmacy.

The people are always very nice and greet you when you come in. It's very much a neighborhood feel.

Don't bother. They're "understaffed" everyday. I worked in the busiest pharmacies in Florida (at Walgreens) and this is NOT how you run a successful pharmacy. Poor management. Techs that don't even know the difference between capsules and tablets and at least one pharmacist that advised me to take a laxities when I asked for a very specific form of magnesium (hint: I wasn't looking for a laxative). Go ANYWHERE else.

Can you please staff your pharmacy drive through at least one hour per week?Drive through has been closed for months due to “staffing issues.”I cannot walk. I am too weak to load/unload my wheelchair because I am experiencing complications from surgery. How am I supposed to get my nerve pain medication (which cannot be delivered)? Apparently the drive through at the other local CVS isn’t available either. This seems like it is a violation of the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act)…Cmon, CVS. Get together!

Thanks for not updating your hours and wasting an entire day of my life. Super cool.

I have leukemia and have had a bone marrow transplant. Require a great number of medication's. Live near the CVS so it would be convenient to get meds here. However, they have literally never been able to fill a single prescription except for lidocaine patches. And that was only once. Dropped off a prescription yesterday for fluoride toothpaste and they can't even manage to fill that in over 24 hours. All the prescriptions just say pending.I have given up and would rather drive downtown in traffic to get my prescriptions rather than deal with anything at CVS.This was a new prescription and their automated system will not let you find out what the status is without the refill prescription number. That's wonderful if it's not a new prescription. I cannot believe this corporation is so ridiculously bad at this. My pharmacy downtown has the ability to do everything online at the click of a mouse.

Wish I could give -5 stars have wasted so much time here on the phone with my insurance and with their horrible staff who doesn't care. The building is dilapidated and their drive through has been broken for some time.Honestly this is the worst cvs pharmacy in all of the US.Have waited 3 months for them to keep telling me my prescription is ready and everytime I go they say it's not ready.

This place has been a nightmare for the past few months. There are constantly boxes in every aisle blocking merchandise. The pharmacists have gotten more and more rude as time goes on. I recently went to the self check out and it charged me $5.44 for nothing before I even started. The cashiers refused to come over and help me and made me stand in the long check outline before they would even address the issue. Once I finally got to the front, they seemed baffled and took several minutes to try to even figure out what happened. I finally just left and forfeited the money. I will not be going here again. The attitude of everyone there is too much.

Im glad to see that the reviews for this CVS are for the most part, positive. Its the closest CVS to me so I frequent this space. Lots of rotating customer service reps which is to be expected. Pharmacy folks are as pleasant as they can be being short staffed and always busy. Its an older store, more often then not they have what you are looking for, sometimes they dont, but thats ok--doesnt warrant scathing pointy words. Sometimes coupons work. Sometimes they dont (which has happened to me a few times.) I dont know how folks can trip so hard about this, ridiculing and insulting CSR's (which I have also witnessed). Contact CVS about their coupon not working instead of throwing insults at the folks behind the counter. Our neighbors that work at CVS are working like the rest of us. They may or may not be in the place they want to be, but you can make a day by bringing a smile and a good attitude into this old store.Pick up your ZZquil, toothpaste and diet tonic, smile at the cashier, ask how their day is going, thank them, and stop tripping about $2 coupons.

I agree with the other reviews this particular building smells, on a good note James the four pharmacist was over the top light and providing answers to the questions that I had.the cashiers she was on snail mode had no mask , spent the majority of her time looking at her cell phone. as I waited in line and even when she was waiting on me she was on her cell phone

CVS on East Montague Avenue in North Charleston is a well managed CVS location that is very convenient and easy to access when you are in the area and need some basic items. The store is well organized and I have been able to find exactly what I was looking for each time I have shopped here. The staff here is very helpful when you need their assistance.
