Definitely not a pleasant experience. Was unable to rent at the airport location so I had my reservation changed to this location on 2-4-24. Wasn't sure if there would be availability this day so on 2-3-24 I created a Separate reservation at the same location to pick up on 2-4-24 for a different vehicle. Upon arrival both reservations were viewed and I was advised there were no cars available on this day. No offer of anything smaller or offers to view another lot for availability. I then called the 800 number and was assured a manage would call me back in the area and advise me who had available. After 20 minutes of no call and all non airport locations shutting down I called and asked to be escalated. I received a rude escalation manager that flat out told me they couldn't help me. There may possibly be a car the next morning at the west ashley location then left it at that and ended the call. I may add by the way they were unwilling to take my original reservation copy it and move it even though it was booked by my company travel department. All this was done while Enterprise was shutting down. Strangely there were multile rentals, SUVs, MIni vans,and Altimas that were still there when the employees left. With all this said I walked into Avis rental on Sam Rittenburg. The found a car, had no problem, taking my debit card and made the worst experience renting a car from earlier that day a positive. I appreciate the staff at Enterprise 8734 rivers ave as well at the rude escalation manager for not taking care of their customer pushing me to take my business elsewhere.

Just picked up my rental yesterday— my vehicle had feint smells of marijuana in it. I’m going to have this vehicle for a couple weeks.My insurance pays for a full size vehicle which I also chose and the guy brings me a small compact vehicle. I’m a 6 foot 2 man.I looked at him and told him, I can not fit in that. He told me, that’s all they have. I then point around at all the other full size sedans that they have in the lot and told him I’ll wait for a bigger sedan if I have to.He then magically says, “we have a Corolla” it wasn’t clean or anything. He does what he needs and then I was so frustrated bc I am just now recovering from getting hit by a semi truck and just wanted to get home.I figured that the service was not going to get any better. I didn’t choose his place USAA did and now I’m second guessing all of this to be honest.I am unhappy and disgusted. The employee name was Robert.

This is by far my favorite enterprise! Brandon and Nate were especially good to me because my circumstances were very unique! They helped me until they couldn’t help me anymore due to the bigger managers stopping my renting which I was highly disappointed about. I wish I would have gotten a call from them directly because Nate only had very little info for me. Love the staff here. They should get a great bonus. lol

I made a reservation online and they tried to charge me over $500 more saying that the website had made a mistake! Luckily it was easy to back out of the reservation. I went back to Budget on Rivers Ave and got a great deal. In addition the Enterprise location is horrible and no where to park. Definitely DO NOT recommend!!!

One of the best Enterprises in Charleston. They make it easy for me to extend due to my job. I highly recommend using them for your car rental needs. The whole staff is wonderful. I wish I could give them 10 stars.

Made reservation online.they take debit cards have been renting from them for years. My confirmation email says debit card. At pickup was told credit card only by a very aggressive man who acted as if he wanted to fight and told me that’s what it says . In all my paperwork says debit card. He told me I was wrong, it’s a suv and credit card needed. I was not wrong with how I reserved and the emails I received. He acted like he wanted to fight and acted as if I was stupid. There was nothing wrong in my behavior but this guy acted as if he was street fighting. I double checked all my emails and it did say debit card and when reserving it said debit card. My biggest complaint is the aggressive behavior and attitude and threatening behavior of employee, he didn’t even offer another vehicle or try to find any solution. Now renting somewhere else,

Wow, what a refreshing experience. John Veneri handled my rental and it was an absolute treat to work with him. He went out of his way to open the door for me as I approached, was courteous, and professional. He knew everything about the car I was renting and even provided me with his personal card if anything came up during my rental. What a guy!

John at the Rivers Ave location was most helpful. He compensated us for minor annoyances with the rental. Very professional staff at each location we've used. Definitely recommend.
