Palmetto Goodwill is a well-organized and clean thrift store with a large variety of clothing, furniture, and other items. The store is kept very clean, and the layout is regularly updated, making it easy to browse. Customers appreciate the friendly and helpful staff who work hard to keep the shelves stocked with new items. The lighting in the store is bright, which helps ensure that shoppers can see what they are buying and avoid stained or broken items. Prices are generally affordable, though some larger items can be a bit expensive but tend to drop in price over time. Shoppers note that the inventory is decent, but those looking for vintage pieces might not find what they want. Some reviews mention long waits at the checkout due to limited cashier staff. The store on Rivers Ave. is often criticized for being dark and unorganized, making shopping less enjoyable. Overall, Palmetto Goodwill is a favorite for many, offering a fun shopping experience with good deals, especially when visiting on days when new stock arrives. The store could improve by offering recycled bags to help the environment and shoppers alike.
Not a huge store with minimal furniture, toys, or books. That being said, there are always cute home decor and a plethora of clothing from high end brands. Always worth stopping in to see what's new!

The store is well kept, but used to be their books were better organized. I like how the thrift store on ladson/Dorchester organizes their books. Kids, paperbacks, hardbacks separate.
