Triage nurse was extremely rude to my daughter who was in horrible pain due to covid. Nurse in back very short still don't know her name she gave shot of pain meds started iv and I had to ask what she gave her. Ask tech for blankets still sitting here without blankets. This place is full of extremely rude people who dont introduce themselves or tell you what they are doing to you before they do it!! To be fair that was day shift they just changed shifts.

I took my friend to this facility about two months ago after he fell, hurt his hand, and is handicap. They all were very nice…The security guard put him in a wheelchair and took him inside while I parked the car, the receptionist was wonderful with him; the male nurse picked him up and put him on the bed bc my friend could not do it- X-ray tech was sweet, doctor was friendly, we had no issues at all. The visit seemed to take a bit longer than we wanted but I’ll take that over rudeness.I’ve also gone to get a chest X-ray and was in and out without a problem- everyone was very nice that time as well. I’m going in the morning for bloodwork , I hope I don’t eat my words.

Dirty inside!! And didn't help me with my issues at all. This is the worst "medical" place I've ever witnessed, straight awful!!!!

The attitude for the check in guy was amazing thanks Reginald. With that being said this place gets 2 stars from me. They are only getting two bc of sweet Reginald. That being said, the time I waited (40mins) in the lobby just to get labs drawn that were ordered the week prior by my doctor. I literally watched the whole lobby clear out (patients that arrived before me and well after me) before I was brought to the back. I believe I wouldn’t had been seen at that time had I not inquired back at the desk how much longer for the wait time. Please no one think that maybe it’s bc the other individuals were there for other things bc there were two individuals that arrived WELL after I arrived that had labs conducted as well.

These doctors were able to diagnose a potentially fatal issue I had been having for weeks when no other doctor or ER had been able to figure out my ailment. I felt like they listened to me.

Nurse Lizette (I hope that’s the correct name) was the most incredible ever. She made me feel comfortable and helped me ease my anxiety. Distracted me and with every answer she tried her best to make sure she wasn’t letting me down. I highly recommend her and in general I recommend Roper. The doctor, Cameron James Maile, was also amazing and caring. If you ever want somewhere to actually listen to you, go here.

I was a patient @ The ER a month ago, and it was one of my worst ER experiences of my life!1 It started at the Front desk, and ended in the back triage area. The receptionist had one of the nastiest attitudes I have ever encountered. I talked with someone from the Patient Experience area of Roper , but I yet to hear back. The PA was also horrible!! I have no intentions of ever going back to this facility again. I would have given 0 stars if I could.

I've never had an issue before with asking a doctor to not prescribe me penicillin based antibiotics because my wife and both children are deadly allergic and I don't like bringing it in the house or risking cross contamination, it being on my hands or coughing it on them. First the nurse tried lying to me saying that this was the only med that treated what I have (strep throat) which is a lie because my kids have strep that's how I got it and there both on a non penicillin antibiotic. Then she came back and said they weren't gonna prescribe me something else take it or don't. Yeah forget my families health and wellbeing.

The staff are always polite. And you get seen all most immediately. I sat for 5 hours in a nearby hospital waiting to be seen. I checked myself out of the hospital and went to Roper northwood.. I was called to the back before I finished the paperwork. I highly recommend this location.

Zero stars should be an option. Front staff, receptionists to be specific are getting paid to be less than helpful and to chat and be on their phones. They are not attentive to patients walking in and answer questions with a horrible attitude. Not to mention that the information provided is half assed and useless. I use to have a great perception of Roper but this location made me re-think twice before going there ever again.

Upon my arrival I walked in and was not greeted at all. Shatara is very rude. It took her awhile to even acknowledge me and my mother standing at the window because she was too busy on her cell phone. Wow isn't that a violation of HIPPA to have your phone out while you are checking patients in. She really needs a new attitude at the front desk. As far as the nurses they do there job but that front desk is what really makes this facility look bad. It's a shame how you don't like your job but still manage come to work and be mean to patients. I will definitely not come back at all. Please change your attitude for once or try another profession.
