Important Tip From A Local...HOW TALL IS YOUR VEHICLE...If renting a condo in a high rise building be aware most of the parking decks here have a maximum height clearance of just 6' to 7' Can't tell you how many times I've seen a family arrive here to find their vehicle was too tall especially with those roof top storage boxes. Don't ignore the height warning signs. Hit a pipe, valve, sprinkler head or gas line and a full team of EMS, Police And Fire will respond costing you $$$$. Take care, safe travels ?

So many hidden costs added to advertised cost. The last time we used Condolux, our condo was in shambles. We had to clean it, the glass sliding door to the balcony wouldn't stay closed and the screen was broken. The washer and dryer didn't work. I've stayed in other Condolun rentals that were very nice, but this one was terrible and their maintenance person was useless.

I recently stayed at Malibu pointe 1101 from 8/26/22-9/3/22. I was not satisfied at all. The condo I rented wasn’t clean. One of the bathrooms smelled as if it wasn’t cleaned in weeks. The shower weren’t clean. The refrigerator didn’t close, the seal around it was messed up so the fridge wasn’t cold. The freezer didn’t freeze. And it was dusty all through out the condo. The couch looked worn. One of the rooms had stuff behind the bed. Doors were off track to bathrooms. I was really dissatisfied with this visit especially since it’s not my first time using Malibu point for vacation stay.

I've booked several condos for multi family vacations through condolux, always fast, friendly and courteous. If I've ever had an issue it was always one call and taken care of. Clean, well maintained facilities.

We have used condolux for 15+ years. They have always been great, always easy to check in and out, the rooms are always clean, and if we have any problems they are quick to respond

Customer service is horrible. They forgot to put my key in the lockbox, then acted like it was my fault because they expect there guests to be there before 5. I asked to be reimbursed for the room I had to rent and she flatly refused. Even though I called three times prior to arrival to inquire about after hours arrival and the lock box. Also every lock box has the same combination and all but four were open including one with someone else's keys in it.

I would suggest avoiding CondoLux at all costs. My family and I just stayed at a "showplace rental" at the Bluewater Keyes, Unit 1004. Showplace rentals are supposed to be the elite of condos. I mention the exact unit for a few reasons. My brother and his family stayed at a beautiful unit in Bluewater Keyes so they are all not like what I am about to say. First, the master bedroom has NO BLINDS. The sunlight was pouring in at 6 AM so be ready to be woken up at the crack of dawn every single morning on your vacation if you are in the master. Also, not to mention who knows who can see in since there is 0 privacy. Next, the place was downright filthy when we got there. The floors had hair all over them, the area rugs were so dirty they were discolored, the toilets were not cleaned, the mirrors were dirty, there was blood on a comforter, there were old corn husks in the refrigerator, and two toilets were broken (one was leaking all over the floor). The furniture is aging in one of the bedrooms so a marker was taken to fill in the white spots. The walls need a fresh coat of paint - the wrong shade of yellow was used to cover up scratches. The floor boards desperately need wiped down. When one of my family members called CondoLux regarding the lack of blinds in the master bedroom we received a snide response that the lack of blinds was disclosed via the picture and it was common for condos not to have blinds. Unfortunately, this comment was misleading and inaccurate considering it was visible to see from the beach that every other unit had blinds in their master bedroom. They sent someone over to "clean" for 15 minutes which consisted of cleaning a toilet, a sink, and floors but then proceeded to wring out the mop in the kitchen sink without thinking to re-clean the kitchen sink. At the end of our trip another family member called CondoLux again to talk to a manager and the man was insanely rude to her and refused to take any further action. When you pay a great deal of money for a "showplace rental" you expect it to be of the highest quality which was the exact opposite of this place. I encourage everyone who wants to have the piece of mind that when booking a condo they will receive tremendous value and superior customer service to stay away from going through CondoLux.
