Called the CIT division this morning for assistance to transfer some money into my account. Was put on hold with a wait time of 5 minutes. Voice said I could get a call back and would not lose my place in the cue so I opted for that. That was at 11:00 am, it's now 4:30 pm and no call back. CIT does not care about their customers, only your money!

I picked this bank because we are building a house in Little River and we have a family member that works for First Citizens. Putting all of that aside we couldn't picked a better bank. What a great group. Brings back the era of personal banking. These ladies made me feel like family from the introduction. I look forward to a long term banking relationship.

I am new to First Citizens Bank on purpose. I wanted a more personal touch, something many 'big banks' seem to have lost. This branch was highly recommended by a close friend, and what a wonderful switch it has been. After a recent family tragedy, Tanya D. patiently sat with me and set up minor accounts for two little boys who had just lost their father. I knew I was in the right place. Veronika R. has taken care of my financial needs like a relative. Her professional and genial attitudes guided me well and smoothly. I am grateful for this new bank, for these women who greet me, listen, guide, and execute. Thank you First Citizens Bank in North Myrtle Beach!

Wouldn't wish this bank on my worst enemy. If you have a problem with your account and go talk to a "personal banker" they give you an 800 number to call. Then you spend 2 hours on the phone with a rude customer service agent. This bank is all about making money and has zero interest in it's customers or their businesses. You deposit cash, you have to pay a fee. You request coin, you have to pay a fee. Deposit a check it isn't available for 7 days. You have to wait forever to talk to a personal banker only to be given a phone number to call. And these are just the things I have run across in the past month. Forgot how a decent bank worked until I started banking somewhere else and not this mafia mentality establishment. Closing all of my accounts that I have had with them for 5 years. There are plenty of honest and friendly banks in town, this isn't one of them.

Overall first citizens is a good bank. The north Myrtle Beach drive thru teller is a complete idiot. She seems to make her own rules on a daily basis. Avoid this branch if possible.

Horrible Horrible customer service since the NC + SC systems were combined. This branch patently refused basic customer service tasks that the Corporate customer service department claims they were capable of doing. Perhaps they are poorly trained or totally untrained. At the very least, they were unkind. This review, from a multi-year customer, relates directly to the branch manager, her assistant, and tellers at this branch on repeated visits. I'm deeply regretful of profering any stars to this branch in this review.

DO NOT GO HERE! Very rude and conceited people work here. I tried to go in here for a business checking account and they talked to me like I was a child not competent enough to own a business let a lone open a business account. For people who like to be respected I would highly advise using another bank for your needs.
