1/7/23: I chose the $18 car wash and was very disappointed. The car was only dried on one side and the black cloths used to wipe the car were so damp that it left a smeary streaky mess which makes me think they had been recycled without going thru the laundry. The vacuum nozzle was clogged with trash that I could not remove so i had to move my car to another spot. The parking lot was full of trash like cup lids, hair ties and other debris and very unkept looking. The parking lot needs to be blown every day; it was a total mess. The young lady that directed me into the car wash did not spray my wheels or the front grill. My back windshield wiper was flipped out after the wash; thankful that was not broken. I don't plan to go back...too bad because it used to be a great place.

Worse car wash I have ever been to. Several items not working., Car has soap all over the rear when we came out. Vacuums do not work. half of them don't have hoses and the others have poor suction. A total waste of $30...Spoke with man outside and he jsut said Yes, a lot of stuff broken..Thankfully there is a Brand New Tidal wave wash opening down the road . Looks like it almost ready to open.Rita

I guess $18 Basic wash means the water doesn't rinse the soap off nor did the air blowers actually blow any of the water off the car. One positive is that the rags were clean enough to wipe all of the water spots off. Dietrich's Car wash service is much better.

Zip's new owner has let this car was run down with no investment in maintenance.40% of vacuums not workingInside car wash is filthy with moldNo window cleaner They just raised the price 20%. Not even close to worth it.I recommend looking for a more reliable car wash where the owner will reinvest in capital upkeep.

If I could give this business negative stars I would. I don't know who took over when it all changed over to zips car wash. The North Myrtle Beach location by barefoot is horrible. Does not clean the car for the $20 I paid. The rug machine was out of order. Half of the vacuums don't work and are just hanging. The other half don't even suck well enough. I pretty much had to hand wash the backside of my car, including my wheels. And the tire shine. I paid for was half ass even applied to two of the tires. When I explained this to The Attendant, he said well, I can run you back through, but they don't do refunds and gave me a card with a website I have to get on.

Every location in MB is a sham broken non sucking vacuums that dont work water down bottles of 90% watered down junk to clean inside of the car not to mention they use 3 squirts of soap for each car $15 insane every location I've been to the same story high prices for low quality service! I would gladly pay if the vacuums worked and they didn't skimp on soap and other products!

Zips Carwash reviewOne star only because you can't choose zero stars. The carwash itself is fine for the most part, despite the occasional non-working equipment. Customer service lacking in several areas. Being a customer for nearly 2 years, I let many things slide when they changed over to Zips. We had issues at every location with the chip reader. They eventually changed the strip, but there were still issues with entry at all locations. We resolved ourselves to the fact that we would have to toot our horn for an attendant to come to the entry gate every time to allow us entry. On November 1st we had pulled into the Barefoot location and after doing the usual waiting and reversing to try to get the reader to work, I tooted the horn for the attendant. I tooted several times within about a five-minute period, when I concluded that I would have to get out and locate the attendant. Luckily there was no other vehicle behind me, so I backed out and pulled in front of the office. I was greeted inside by a very rude and angry man who said "You need to come into the office and not sit there beeping your horn". His rudeness shocked me and I told him he didn't need to act like an ass. His rudeness increased, and I said that maybe I should just cancel my membership. At that point he demanded I follow him to the office to close my account. I was then told if I was not welcome there EVER and if I returned, he would call the police. I asked WHY? His answer was that I cursed him out (because I said "you don't have to act like an ass"). Ok, maybe I shouldn't have said that stupid little comment, but I really believe he was overreacting. Fast forward, to my contacting the corporate office to lodge a complaint. I told the rep on the phone exactly what happened including MY comment to him. She was apologetic and sympathetic and said I would be contacted by management. I received an email the next day saying I would be contacted shortly. THREE weeks later I received a phone call from management. The resolution for them was an apology. He said he was sorry and the attendant and all staff would be informed this is not the way to treat a customer. That was then end of the call! I was more than surprised that I was not offered some kind of compensation for my humiliation and inconvenience after being a loyal customer for nearly two years. A free carwash, or free month, something that would convince me to come back as a customer. NOTHING. Suffice it to say, I am done with Zips Carwash. They need some lessons in Customer Service.

Everytime I enter the wash area Terry is there guiding me safely onto the track. He pre sprays my car thoroughly and sends me into the wash with a smile. While wiping my car twice I have accidently locked myself out of my car and Javin has offered me his cell phone to call onstar to unlock it. They are very helpful and pleasant everytime I go there.

Their ID stickers do not work. every time I go to get my car washed I have to have an attendant do something in the office to get me through. You need to fix this. I am canceling my membership.

OK so this car wash is amazing it's cool there is only one person working entire car wash that I saw and he's hosing down and spraying your car if you picked one of the options in the automated teller. You pull up to it looks like an ATM machine and you pick what you want you could put cash or debit card in. So cool. They have vacuums outside that you can vacuum your own car. This is in Myrtle Beach South Carolina.

I liked going here to get my car washed. It wasn't overly crowded and the was comparable to what I was used to up north.

Great wash for 20 bucks. Free vacuums, tire shine, and much more supplies to make it perfect.
