Phil helped me transition financial issues immediately after my mother’s passing. Truist was my mom’s bank, not mine. After experiencing Phil’s excellent, responsive customer service and expertise, we did not hesitate to make the switch from Wells Fargo to Truist. The comparison was disturbing & shocking, considering we have been with Wells Fargo for more than 25 years. In fair review, not all branches give the same “outstanding”service. In my personal experience, Phil Weitz made a significant difference! He deserves far more recognition than I can express here. During the unsettling time of my mom’s passing Phil, with his sensitive humor, helped stop the tears so I could talk. He called several family members to coordinate necessities. He treated each one with the same sincere concern. He spoke with me practically daily as we made progress with timely transitions. He immediately recognized me when I entered the branch. The positive here is that Wells Fargo is where you need them to be. Therefore on a Monday morning in South Carolina after making an appointment online two days prior we are in and out quickly. We met with personal banker Lina Rodriguez and she was great. She is very knowledgeable and we had no issues. They pull up our mortgage for our house and than endorse.
