“I called Beaufort County Animal Control about getting my Pit-mix neutered. I saw on the web site that they do pits for free. When I called they sent me to the number for Hilton Head Humane. I told them I wanted to get my pittie neutered and was told it would be $75. So beware if you think you are going to get it done free you probably aren't.
I will say, despite having to pay, they took good care of our handsome boy and he is doing great.”

I can’t explain how pleased we were with our home visit with Dr Gabi Felkel! She was kind, patient, and very knowledgeable. Brooklyn had her annual exam done with some medications prescribed for her skin allergies and ear infection all in one visit in the comfort of our home. Thank you so much!”

“I would like to share the experience I had with Coastal Veterinary Clinic. Sadly, I had to say goodbye to my cat and best friend Scooby, who was the best company I could have ever asked for. Anyone that has gone through this knows how tough and heartbreaking this is. I've been through this before, but this one was the toughest for me. Dr. Katie Black was sincerely compassionate and showed so much care and empathy on that sad day and if it was possible, made it easier to go to through. Also, the clay paw print and cardboard casket was such a nice touch. You will forever be remembered for the entire experience. “Good prices for vet care as it's a non profit. Good care.
Large establishment.
However, for stray cats that you want neutered? DO NOT BRING pregnant cats! They get turned away. If you can't foster your dangerous, feral pregnant cat then, you will have to release her back into the street to give birth outdoors. (Which defeats the whole purpose of trapping stray cats to get them fixed.)
The Hilton Head Humane Society, also located in Okatie, South Carolina, will terminate cat pregnancies but, they only have appointments on Tuesdays.”
“The staff at Banfield in Bluffton are wonderful and caring. I trust leaving my 2 dogs in their care and knowing they are getting the best care possible is refreshing.”
