“We are very satisfied and happy with the care we receive at Okatie Veterinary Center. Our cat is difficult to handle. We adopted her at 10 years old. And we have no information on her past history. She is always on high alert and getting her to vet is stressful for us as well as her. They do a good job there handling her and making her feel comfortable.”

“I called Beaufort County Animal Control about getting my Pit-mix neutered. I saw on the web site that they do pits for free. When I called they sent me to the number for Hilton Head Humane. I told them I wanted to get my pittie neutered and was told it would be $75. So beware if you think you are going to get it done free you probably aren't. I will say, despite having to pay, they took good care of our handsome boy and he is doing great.”

“We just adopted a rescue 4 year old, 12 pound shih tzu from a rescue in Georgia. He had been neutered about a week before we got him. Today (Sat), he started getting a blood type sac in area neutered, our regular vet is closed on weekends. We called Lowcountry vets in Old Town Bluffton to hopefully get an appt today, Sat, and from initial contact with the receptionist, to the vet tech and Dr. Griff Holland, we were so incredible pleased. The vet tech and Dr. Griff were just amazing, took their time with us, listened to us, said all was okay, but pointed out a few things about our pup and explained them to us. We have found an amazing new vet office, and highly, highly recommend them!”

“Nice place to get your pet supplies. The employees are helpful and friendly. I like how the store is set up with the animals in the center of the store and the supplies around. That way you aren't ever too far away from peeking at the pets. You can tell they care for the animals well. I definitely recommend.”

“Good prices for vet care as it's a non profit. Good care. Large establishment. However, for stray cats that you want neutered? DO NOT BRING pregnant cats! They get turned away. If you can't foster your dangerous, feral pregnant cat then, you will have to release her back into the street to give birth outdoors. (Which defeats the whole purpose of trapping stray cats to get them fixed.) The Hilton Head Humane Society, also located in Okatie, South Carolina, will terminate cat pregnancies but, they only have appointments on Tuesdays.”
