Whenever my scheduled automatic payment vendor requests payment it seems that CPM will wait at least 5-7 days from that date before releasing the payment to the vendor. And it seems rather suspicious that they hold releasing money but that’s because they’re banking on members account balances to go lower and then CPM releases payments and the charges the men NSF of $32.00. This is some very unscrupulous unethically business. I’m changing all my direct payments out of CPM credit union in Orangeburg immediately!!

I would like to sing Jamal Bloome’s praises! Jamal helped me with a concern I had about my checking account and cleared it right up. He was very friendly, accommodating and professional. Been a customer for years at CPM, moved out of Orangeburg 2 years ago and stayed with them after moving. My debit card was compromised over the weekend, after getting paid on Friday. Called this morning asking to have a new debit card sent to me and please expedite, customer service assured me that would happen and fee would be waived. Later in the afternoon another from CPM called to verify my address and asked me about ordering a new debit card, asked if it was being expedited and she said no that must be applied by a manager, so I was put on hold and she came back and said the manager approved it but when it was delivered it would need a signature, so I explained to her that I work from 8-5 and could not be there to sign for my debit card. I asked if it could be sent to my office and was told no it has to go to a home address! No other options given to me other than mail it and it will take 7 to 9 days to receive it!! This person asked me what time UPS ran???? Really, didn’t I mention that I work all day? Unacceptable! Do better CPM!!Cheryl M Jones

Terrible place to visit. I'm a new resident to South Carolina, been here 7 days. Moved into my fiance's house and have nothing in my name yet. I did have a change of address notice from the USPS with the new address on it. I also had a forwarded piece of mail from the post office, with the yellow label. According to this Orangeburg branch that was not evidence enough to prove my residency in South Carolina to open a new account and become a member. I had two checks from two Georgia Federal Unions. I hate it for them that they have lost out on a $248,000.00 deposit. They are the loosers in this situation.

I had a loan sent to this bank to fix my car and they refused to release all of the money at once to me. I could not pay to have my car fixed, so here I am New Years weekend with no car and no way to get to work. Manager was rude but tellers were nice.

Mostly rude non helpful tellers. You can only hope to catch one of them on a good day! Unless they 'know' you do not expect good customer service. At all! Even as a member!

I had such a great experience at CPM. Michelle Foxworth is the absolute best! She was so patient with helping me secure my auto loan. I went back and forth so many times with her and she kept working the deals for me. I love her!

Lord have mercy, I lost my card!! I couldn’t find it anywhere and I was so upset as it’s right here at Christmas!I call the CPM 1-800# and the sweetest lady helped me! She could tell I was upset and she was absolutely wonderful! She canceled my card for me and put my fears to rest. I can’t tell you how much it meant to me to speak to someone who was so genuine and really cared about me!! Thanks Violet and Thanks CPM for having the absolute Best employees! ?

The fact that if my entire wallet gets stolen, I have to purchase new cards. But if a card is damaged or broken, I'll receive a free replacement.
