This place is a scam. They wouldn't let me cancel my membership dispite moving and not being able to go to the gym. They wanted a $250 cancelation fee to end my contract early so I just let them charge me for 6 months without using the gym to avoid the fee. After the contact ended, the increased my monthly pay (without permission) and are still not letting me cancel. Card has now been canceled due to this place scamming and cheating people. No wonder they had to sell as Gold's Gym to this new name so they can continue scamming people.

Prices are high on everything and hours suck other than that nice gym and equipment sauna is always closed Also should have a free pass to bring a friend for atleast one day 15 $ is kinda steep, had to get a membership at planet just to cover the house golds is closed ,

Do not go to this gym under any fitness plans or specials that they offer. They will tell you you can cancel any time with written cancellation then deny your request when you follow their direction.I haven't attended this gym since July and has recently gotten a bill for over 500 dollars. This gym is not worth the pay or headache. Unless you're into free weights just go to planet fitness. More affordable and less scams to take your money when wanting to leave. Also I have the documentation to post of me sending off my letter to cancel per YOUR policy. Do better

I constantly travel, due to work, so I’ve been to plenty of gyms around the country. This gym is hands down one of the greatest gyms I’ve been to. The facility its self is extremely clean and well taken care of. The best part, in my opinion, is the staff; they’re extremely friendly and never fail to ask how your day is going. I’ve been coming to this gym for about a month and I look forward to every workout. A huge thank you to the staff and management, you guys are the best ??????

Love this gym! The one and only down side is their sauna/steam room, pool, and cycle studio are closed. I’ve asked a few of the employees when they think it will open and no one seems to know. Other than that, we love everything about this place!

False advertising, your website says free pass, the email you sent me says free pass, the sign on the wall is discussing a free pass. Stop using COVID as an excuse for not living up to your own advertising.

What a joke this place is. I went in today to use my travel pass as this is not my local gym. I am out of town for work and wanted to get a workout in. I was told by the front desk that they were not accepting travel passes do to COVID but I could purchase a day pass for $15.00. So it's not that they won't let me in it's just that I have to pay. I already pay for the travel pass privileges with my membership. I asked to speak to the manager and he just ignored me and stayed in his office while I waited half an hour to speak with him. He never did come out. What crap, he could at least taken the time to speak with me.

I haven’t been at this gym in over a year and a half as I no longer live in Orangeburg .. they have been taking the $55 membership fee out of my account for a year and a half… in order for me to cancel I have to write a note and pay $165 for a 90 day notice. Due to Covid my funds are not the same. They have no sympathy.. I’ve literally been giving them a free $55 for a year and a half but they won’t cancel my policy unless I pay $165 to leave. This is terrible I will NEVER get another membership at this place .
