I’ve been a loyal customer for the last few years. I went to the same orangeburg Mr. Tire. In the past, before they got rid of the good mechanics, I would rate them 10 if I could. Now, I rate them 0 stars. So disappointing.I took my car in knowing the brakes and rotors were going to need changed(based off the loud metal in metal noise) and I was due for an oil change as well. They came back telling me it was the back brakes and rotors. So they proceeded to fix them. The following day I go to pick my vehicle up and they said they had replaced the back brakes and rotors and that the front brakes and rotors had half-life left, “six months” before they would need to be changed and the oil changed didn’t get done because, I “we didn’t have time to do the oil change”. I didn’t make a big deal of the oil change because I knew I had about 1000 miles before it actually need changed. I just thought it would be more convenient to get it done early so I didn’t have to worry about it as I drive crazy distance to and from work. Anyhow, I pay them, get in my car and I’m about to pull out of their lot when I hear it’s making the same metal on metal grinding noise it did when I originally dropped it off. So of course I turn immediately around, take it back and let them know it’s still doing the same thing it was when I first originally dropped it off. The guy took it for another drive came back and said “it’s the struts and you can drive on bad struts for a long time don’t worry about” I said, are you sure that the front brakes and rotors don’t need to be changed because with my limited knowledge the sound it’s making is usually the sound of bad brakes. They said “we’re absolutely positive”. You have another six months before you need to replace the front brakes.Means to say I took it to another mechanic, who immediately said “the front brakes and rotors needing to be changed, there are no brakes pads left in the front so it’s scraping the rotors and now you’ll need to buy not just pads but rotors as well. along with a serpentine belt, which the original Mechanic from MR. Tire didn’t even mention. Now I fully believe it’s the mechanics Mr Tire is hiring. Ohh not to mention the guy in the front quoted me $789 but when I came in with my husband the following day he only charged me $540!!! WTH! Before they got these new guys in there I never even doubted their abilities or the prices they gave. Now, I will NEVER go back! It’s very said to say my advice now is; save your money and find somebody who knows what they’re doing and who isn’t so overrun that they don’t care what they’re leaving undone or what they’re missing.

I walked in Monday morning for an oil change, but was told due to current appointments that the wait would be several hours, but that there was an opening at 2:30 that afternoon. When I returned service was done in about 30 minutes just as I was told. Very professional and courteous staff.

Friendly and I felt comfortable that they would be fair with pricing and let me know the cost before work was done. I will go back there again. Good location in Orangeburg... while they did oil change I walked to mall next door.

I had an oil change. Great Price. Asked them to rotate tires and they did not complete it. They said tires didn't need it. They are overdue for rotation. I will have to take care of it myself.

I had a great experience as always. I came in with a tire needing to be replaced because of a puncture. Craig and his crew were able to get the tire replaced. Communication was great, service was great.

Visiting my parents and got alignment done by them. I took the 15 min ride home and looked at my rims and noticed 3 of the 4 had noticeable scratches on them. Of course it’s a Saturday and management isn’t around to help me. Judging by other reviews it’ll probably cost me more money to repair or replace them myself.

We were traveling a long distance and got a flat tire with 2 babies in the vehicle. The guys at Mr. Tire were able to get us taken care of very quickly and efficiently, and were very kind. We highly recommend them.
