I had an issue with my insurance covering my prescriptions. Although it was an insurance problem, the staff and pharmacists at this store were patient, helpful, and professional. Sabrina stayed on the phone with my insurance, despite losing connection several times, until the problem was resolved; and this was close to closing time. I appreciate the staff at my Walmart pharmacy.

You've heard the expression "hell on earth"? Yep, well this is where it's located. To say they have horrible customer service is a genuine understatement, last year, on Halloween actually, my best friend went and picked up a prescription for me. During the hour and a half wait, yes, an hour and a half, she (and the other 30 people waiting for prescriptions) witnessed what almost became a physical altercation between the pharmacy employee and a customer who'd come back twice after being told her prescription was ready and it wasn't. The female pharmacy employee rips off her jacket and comes from behind the counter TOWARDS the customer, I'm on the phone with my best friend this whole time and heard the whole thing. "Unprofessional" doesn't cover it. Damn if I'm gonna give my business to a place where I have to worry about being assaulted by the employees.Fast forward to last Tuesday, when I almost HAD to go there. They were the only ones in town who had a particular pain medicine that there's a nationwide shortage of. I call my doctors office back to tell them, my Doctor called in the prescription, they REFUSED to fill it because i didn't "need" it. So the pharmacy who employs people who assault customers, now knows better than the doctors. I have sciatica, degenerative disc disease, three herniated discs with no disc space, part of the nerve root is trapped between two or more discs grinding on each other (causing aforementioned scialļtica, facet joint arthritis, severe canal stenosis and a rapidly progressive case of levoscolosis, my neurosurgeon: "we haven't ever seen this level of damage in a 45 year old", levoscoliosis is when the spine is curving to the left, which is rare and very painful, and will require spinal fusion surgerieS (plural) to try to correct it. I also have to go back now on August 27th for CT scans of lumbar and thoracic GD and another MRI for thoracic and cervical (mid back and neck) areas because they suspect the damage goes higher, but the gods at Orangeburg Walmart pharmacy have deemed me unworthy of their holy pain medication because "she doesn't need this for back pain". We're talking about 10 mg percocet here, not black tar heroin. I wouldn't wish this pain on my worst enemy, but I would wish it on the j*** who made that ill advised judgment call.Like I said, this Walmart (and most certainly their pharmacy) is the personification of literal hell on earth on every level.

They have always been super nice and extremely helpful when filling my medications. I’m a super happy customer with Walmart Pharmacy on North Rd in Orangeburg SC. In these uncertain times, even with the added daily stress of covid, they are still putting our needs before theirs and serving the public.

I had a very lovely experience here. Shavon helped me a great deal when I had to buy medicines for my family member who was visiting from abroad and ended up staying here for longer period due to COVID-19 lockdowns & shutdowns of airports. My family member couldn’t get any insurance because of pre-existing conditions and she had to lookup discounts for each n every medicine that we had to buy. We saved a lot because of her. Thank you Shavon. May our Almighty God bless you and your colleagues for all that you do.

I only use this pharmacy because the hours are convenient. Otherwise, the staff is rude, they do not communicate with you regarding your prescriptions or anything! I walked in to get a prescription filled and was told it would take 45 minutes to do so. I had to do some shopping which ran over about 1hr. I went to pick up my prescription and I was told it was not ready. I waited an additional 45 minutes for my prescription and walked up 2 minutes before they closed and I was told I had to come back the next day. I informed them I could not and would not because I’ve already been waiting and it was in them, not me. The attitudes were ridiculous but luckily someone I do not usually see working there assisted me with getting my prescriptions so my children and I could go home.

There's always something going on that makes me not like this pharmacy more and more. It's never an easy pickup, it's always a wait and there's always a problem.

The employees are rude and incompetent. No greeting or anything. They act like they hate being there. God forbid you ask them for anything, they act like it's pulling teeth to help you, or just flat out won't help you. They never call when your prescription's ready or when they have a problem filling it, like the website claims. You never hear from them period. All this has been going on for years with the same employees! The whole store needs an overhaul. Everybody, including management, needs to be fired and new people that will actually do their job need to be hired.

A staff member named "Tay" laughed when I said I needed to find a new pharmacy because they would not accept my daughter's proof of insurance. I have used this pharmacy for almost 20 years, but that did it for me. Find a pharmacy that doesn't think a person's suffering is laughable!
