A big shout out to Matt. The battery on my Honda Pilot literally died at 5:30 pm last night on my way to run errands. I stopped by Advanced Auto Parts in Pawleys Island to get a new battery. Matt was able to sell me a battery and install it within 45 minutes. My vehicle is up and running without and issue.

Stevie was awesome!!! Helped and helped, we just couldn’t find the right lugnut for the trailer.. they don’t make it in a 13, only 14 too big or 12 too small!!!The service and the patience he exercised was a great representation of how everyone I know sees this location!!You need something from an auto parts store, start here 1stAsk for Stevie by name !!!!!

Horrible experience. I’ve never been walked away from while trying to explain my problem. I went into this location doing a warranty replacement on my windshield wipers. The guy that was originally helping me was awesome great guy customer service was AMAZING. Then he proceeded to give me the windshield wipers that i needed for my car however only told me they can replace one and as Matt a heavier set dude came to put my wipers on i asked him “your only replacing one?” He said “yes” I’m thinking it doesn’t make any sense for me to pay for a warrant to get 1 wiper replaced when they both were going bad. As i was explaining my situation Matt walked away from me and basically said he didn’t care about the issue for me to talk to the guy that initially started the sale. & comes to find out neither or them are knowledgeable about their job because when i called the store i normally go to the explain they had to ring the warranty under to transactions because it won’t allow you to do 2 acp replacement it 1 transaction. I work in customer service for 9 years and this was not what customers should have to experience by anyone in a field of customer service. WILL NOT BE BACK ! Do not recommend. Anyone who allows someone to speak to them like i was spoke to should NOT! Then Matt continues to tell me that his job isn’t going to do anything because he doesn’t get bad reviews well here’s one.

Very helpful, knowledgeable. They loaned us a tool to use in their parking lot for a quick brake light fix that a nice local guy made us aware of while driving down the road. They had the items we needed to buy as well.

On previous occasions got good service here. Bought a DieHard battery in July, 750 CCA rated. Tested at the shop 6 weeks later, CCA 550. Returned to Advance Auto, they tested it an got a similar result, but the manager says that it's normal, the battery is fine, and he can't replace it if it's still good. He actually said it was normal for a battery to drop from 750 to 550 in a little over a month.Took it to another Advance Auto in Murrells Inlet, and he replaced it, no problems. I guess I'll have to go there from now on, even though I try to buy local. Lost my business for good.

Thomas at this location was amazing! I had a interview and I had like an hour to spare, so I went to get my battery checked. Thomas checked my battery, and changed my battery in the rain! He was considerate and understanding. Highly recommend coming to Thomas for all your car problems.

I needed to get a new rear windshield wiper so I stopped into Advance and told them what I needed the make model and year of my car. In no time he had pulled it up on their computer and came out from behind the counter and found it for me. They then rang it up and asked if I needed help putting it on? Since I was the only customer I said sure to help him kill some time. We went outside and he had the old one off and the new one on in no time. very helpful, I recommend Advance for your automotive needs.

Recently purchased a battery on line and then went in to get it. Battery was waiting there for me, check out was quick and then they installed it for me. The whole procedure was less than 10 minutes. Nice job guys.

My son bought a battery yesterday!!! He returned the battery today and he had the receipt but they made a scene five people that worked there called him a liar and said he didn't get the battery here. Well the reason he returned it was because they sold him a old 2018 battery.... bad customer service... we run a construction company and I am ashamed that I have to deal with this when I am trying to run a company. Get your stuff together your people need to keep their nose out of other people's business even when there is receipt is involved....
