I wish there was a less than one star rating. I am not typically a complainer but continual bad service from a company that should be compassionate because the service they provide is at the heart of healthcare. When we moved to Litchfield 3 years ago we wanted to work with small businesses locally as we owned a small business in MD for 30 years. But the problem with this location of Pawleys Island Pharmacy is they are continually rude and disrespectful to those they serve over and over. We have had many instances working with them including the owner who totally stood me up when she set an appointment with me. Of all of the previous issues that were less than nice, this last time was the turning point for us to find pharmacy care elsewhere. I went to pick up 2 prescriptions after 2 very stressful dr appts with tough diagnosis'. When I drove up to the window, when they finally came to the window the women in the window just stood there and didn't say a word. When I told her who I was and that I had come to pick up 2 prescriptions she said there was only one ready and that the other I couldn't have. Of course I was confused and asked for an explanation and she yelled at me over the microphone and said "do you have that much cash on you and want to self pay? " I had no idea what she was talking about and instead of explaining she stormed off when I asked her to just give me the one that I could pick up. By this time I was all but in tears because of her and the day I had had so instead of more yelling I chose to leave with the single prescription and contact my doctor for more information. The next morning I called Pawleys Island Pharmacy at Litchfield and asked how to transfer all of my prescriptions because I would no longer be working with them. They told me to have the other pharmacy call them. So I called Publix and they had me in and out in 2 hours and were incredibly kind and the price was considerably cheaper. Shame on you Pawleys Island Pharmacy of Litchfield, you should do better for those folks you serve.

My dad was in Litchfield for a week and had left one of his daily glaucoma eye drops at home. The ladies at Pawleys Island Pharmacy found them for him and were able to get them for him the next day. They really went out of their way to help him and that is much appreciated. The other pharmacies he tried in the area just said sorry we can’t help you except for CVS where he was completely ignored. We will be back to see them at The Litchfield store of the Pawlleys Island Pharmacy!

We moved to Litchfield Beach/Pawleys Island about a year ago and we were small business owners so we like to use and help small businesses, well it took almost a year but the continued rudeness and forgetfulness of Pawleys Island Pharmacy has finally chased us away. I quit going in with my wife because it doesn't take a whole lot to set me off well yesterday she came out fuming they had told her the day before to come in after 2 for her prescription so she did and when she went in to get it they said it wasn't ready yet she should have come in later !!! Enough said the gal went back into the pharmacy section started throwing things around and told the other gal to take care of my wife finally they got her prescription ready slammed it on the counter and said $103 The End off to Publix Pharmacy we go

I'm so sorry that i feel as if I must share this as I am a huge supporter of small business. I live in Pawleys just a few minutes from CVS and Walgreens. I traveled 15 minutes to get to this Pharmacy which was out of my way. I was looking cough and cold medicine. I was wearing my mask reading the labels trying to find a nighttime extended formula. I was so confused after reading so many of the labels, I needed help. The store was not busy at all when this happened. An older woman (70s with grey hair) clerk came from behind the register to put something back on the shelf unrelated to anything having to do with me. I politely asked " May I ask you a question" she replied yes. I then asked for help and told her what I as looking for and her answer to me was " We have what we haveand it's all in front of you" Needless to say I was not happy with the answer and the unwillingness to help further. She didn't answer my direct question of her at all and the tone in her voice screamed " I don't want to help, find it for yourself. If she didn't have an answer to the question I asked then perhaps she could have said" I'm not sure let me check with someone else that may know. I walked out and will never return. I'd expect that lack of customer service from a chain Pharmacy not a small independent one. I'm sure my not returning won't have an impact but I write this review to you the other consumers, enter at your own risk and don't expect any service or help if this woman is working

Kept waiting for 3 days then went to pick it up and computer was “down. Have lived in Pawleys Island for 6 years. Wanted to change to this pharmacy because they say they delivered. Prescribed by well known pain management dr. In pawley's Island. I guess I've not lived in Pawleys Island long enough to be considered a local. That's ok their loss is CVSs Big gain never had a problem with them.

I had an issue with an electronic prescription sent over from our Dr's office. Jane at the counter was so helpful in locating and filling the script THEN she found me an online discount that significantly reduced the price as we are a self-pay family. That kind of undivided attention is rare and is certainly commendable!
