Don't depend on the post office to pick up your packages. Scheduled a pick up, got confirmation it was to be picked up. By 9PM it was still not picked up. At 10:30PM get a CONFIRMATION email it had been picked up. Package was still on porch this morning. Sadly this is not the first time this has happened. I get things get missed sometimes, but to actually send a confirmation of pick up???? RIDICULOUS.

I called today August 23, 2023 and the employee who answered the phone was incredibly rude and argumentative. Even hung up on me. Unbelievable.

Have lived here for 31 years and experienced a change in post office locations—for the better. We have a wonderful mail deliverer, Veenie, We have no complaints about USPS.

This place is a mess and a complete waste of time and energy. Don't try to call because nobody will answer the phone and if you do go there you will encounter the worst customer service ever. I don't know how this place exists in a town like mount Pleasant. Take the reviews seriously because they are true.

Biggest jerks in the state work at this office. (There's 1 nice guy, he's the youngest looking one). The other two are complete jerks every time I come here. Absolutely no reason to treat people the way you do.

The rudest man was so unhelpful, passive aggressive and unwilling to help us with our change of address. The government needs to be out of the postal industry altogether. We did a change of address form with him a couple of months back. We were then sent a letter, it instructed to go in and show proof of identity. Today, he stated the letter we were sent was useless to him as there was not a bar code. He couldn't use the form (no other letter was sent). He wouldn't problem solve the situation. No common sense was used or seemed available to him. He led the conversation around the fact they had no forms in the office to start the process over. He seemed to actually take pleasure in his manor and arrogance. He must be a very unhappy person to treat people so unkindly. I went online and was charged a fee to process the request. It is no wonder the postal service failing. The free market needs to be involved; not the government. If so this situation from start to finish would have been efficient and done with the customer in mind.

'Have known the people and loved their help since 1972. I have the highest praise for all. They even recently helped me with a total disaster of an office in Ohio where the new local postmaster up there just returns my mail to sender when I'm away even though I lost $100.00 as I paid the young boys next door to pick it up daily. They would never do that to us here!

Wow! Had I read these horrible reviews before I would have never made an appointment to get my passport here. The service was so horrible and the individual, DJ handling this was so rude and spoke to me so unprofessionally. If I conducted myself at my company in this way I would certainly be terminated. He spoke to other customers in this way and I can not believe that he gets away with this behavior. I won't just be doing this review, I plan on contacting whomever his direct supervisors' supervisor and above! Disgusting behavior. If I could give no stars I would.

The employees here are incredibly nice, polite, and they have gone out of their way big time to help me. Keisha is an awesome employee, in particular, and I hope they can keep her around. I normally am not a fan of USPS but the layout of this location is great (nobody gets in the way of anybody else because they have it laid out well), the workers are fantastic, and it is always very clean. I'm happy to have this office in my home community.

I would give this post office 0 stars if possible. DJ Moore who works the passport office on Saturday's has some serious issues. He was yelling at my 3 year old child. He was on a power trip from the get go and very aggressive to the point that I had to confront him to stop his behavior. It was unreal when I told him to relax and he stood up yelling his name and saying he runs this place (thats how I know his last name). I'm not kidding when I say this guy is very unstable and a lawsuit waiting to happen for the post office. I was shocked to come to write this review and see him specifically mentioned over and over. Come on post office HR - get a grip on your employees.

Just moved to Pawleys Island 2 months ago and the local USPS has already misplaced or lost one of my packages. I called the 800 number listed and it is a basic customer service number. They gave me a local phone number and when I call it, it just rings busy. I was never notified of a hold on the package as stated on the USPS site tracking. Avoid having mail shipped or received here.

If I could give this post office zero stars, I would. Hands down the worst "customer service" I've ever experienced. I wouldn't even call it customer service that's how horrible it is.
