Happy Cow Creamery is a must stop in the area. It is a cute and well cleaned place with a new, much larger store offering a good selection of fresh produce, excellent milk, and a variety of meats, all locally raised and grown farm to table. They also have some random items and country store kind of things you don't find many places. The meat selection is really good and people are really impressed by the cheeses. Their chocolate milk is the best and showing up to family gatherings with it is how it's done.
They offer tours with a little tractor ride through the fields where you can see the cows and hear the story of how letting the cows graze makes more milk and happy cows. You can see the milk lifecycle areas and sometimes pet the cows. If youngsters are lucky enough to be there when a calf is born, there is a chance to have the calf named after them. They have awesome people and great customer service.
My kids and I came for a field trip. It was great, we learned how Farmer Tom is doing dairy farming differently than other dairy farmers. Ms. Susie and Ms. Hannah were sweet and informative! We also got to try the milk AND ice cream. They have a lovely farmhouse store as well!

The tour is 8$ that I wasn't told about but you do get milk and ice cream samples. Tour is short but nice for a single time. You just look at the pastures and barn while hearing the story of the dairy's beginnings. The story is fully stocked with wonderful food and nostalgia items.
