Watch the line at the drive thru. If there's more than 3 cars there will most likely be a long wait.

Went to pick up a prescription for my dad today, March 11, 2025 at 3:15 and was told by the pharmacist (younger fellow reddish brown hair) that he could not use the prescription from the doctor because it was on plain copy paper. He was VERY rude and said it was at his discretion. He would not call the physicians office. Would not even entertain helping me at all. I called the physicians office and was told that he is ugly to many of their patients. There is simply no reason to employ someone so rude and unsympathetic / unempathetic. Pam Aiken.

I have used a lot of CVS pharmacies across several states and almost every CVS in the upstate and I have never received such consistently poor service as I have in Pickens. Unfortunately, that's the pharmacy I am stuck with since my insurance no longer covers Walgreens (if you are in Pickens, just go to Walgreens, it's like night and day how much more considerate, polite, and helpful their staff are).
Some of the younger staff in the Pickens CVS is great; I'm not talking about them.
One woman has served me several times and each time, is ruder and more short-tempered than the last. Today, she rolled her eyes and shot me a glare as I put on a mask to protect HER from the flu my kid and I have. She yelled at me for saying our names too fast. She acted like I had asked her to build the pyramids of Giza instead of mix my child's antibiotic.
She snapped at me and spoke over me several times, answering questions I wasn't asking and failing to listen to what I WAS asking. And finally, she has lied to me outright several times about her ability to check inventory at this and other local CVS pharmacies, this evening telling me that was impossible and slamming the window shut. I have spoken with several other CVS workers who have been very helpful and kind, and who are able to tell me which other locations have my medication in stock. I cannot do this over the phone since CVS removed the ability to speak to a human through their automated system. I am so frustrated and enraged by the constant disrespect and incompetence at this location.
Again, the younger staff are lovely. The rest of this CVS can rot.

The absolute WORST pharmacy I’ve ever experienced. Horrible customer service, I mean I’ve never experienced such rude service and unprofessionalism. Not to mention nobody ever has a clue what they’re doing or what’s going on. They NEVER order their trucks right. So if you are dependent on ANY medication, please do yourself a favor and go to another pharmacy!!!

The Pickens CVS is the best in the upstate!!! The pharmacy team/pharmacist truly care about the customers. They go above and beyond to help each customer through care, professionalism, concern, and using empathy while dealing with customers who are having a tough time with medications due to insurance issues as well as those who do not have insurance. The team is always there with a smile, positive attitude, friendly, and very courteous.
The same can be said about those who work the floor as sale associates!!! The ones I have encountered are total sweethearts!!! They're always willing to help!!! I truly enjoy using this CVS where I'm shown respect, and treated like I matter while shopping.

Pharmacy management seems to be declining. I’m made to feel bad that the pharmacy was out of my medication. They won’t let me request a refill early enough to make sure it is in stock. Then the pharmacy had no clue how to help me request a refill of critical medication and it is out of stock.
