Corner Magic Gaming Center is a large and well-stocked Magic: The Gathering store located near Interstate 85 in Greenville County. It is known as the oldest card store in the area and has moved to its second location. The store offers an extensive selection of cards, including older Magic sets and singles, even some from Alpha and Beta, as well as cards that Wizards of the Coast has apologized for making due to racist undertones. The inventory is impressive, with around four million cards, and staff members are dedicated to finding specific cards, even if they are not listed in the computer system. Customers can enjoy trading, a variety of singles, and active tournaments and events, especially Pioneer and Commander nights held regularly. The store is particularly popular for its community-driven atmosphere, where players help each other improve decks for free, with the caveat of following Rule Zero for Commander. It is tucked away in a hidden location but accessible via a decent-sized shared parking lot. The store is mostly MTG-focused but is working on building communities for other smaller TCGs. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, with some employees able to assist with older sets and specific collections. Despite its size and extensive inventory, the store could improve in display arrangements and cleanliness, but overall, it remains a favorite spot for Magic players in the area.
