βThis store has an incredible selection and fair prices to match. The storeβs owner is an extremely helpful and friendly person who always does his best to aid his customers in finding exactly what they want. Even if they didnβt know it themself!β
βWhen looking for a liquor store thatβs not far from my house, I decided to try Liq & Liquor. I needed some whiskey for a dessert Iβm making for thanksgiving. Not an expert on liquor by any means, I do like the occasional sip of moscato. I needed the brown stuff!! The young man working in the store was very friendly and helpful. He even looked the recipe up to see what kind of whiskey was used in the recipe. Jim Beam was the whiskey. I bought a medium sized bottle, enough to be used again when I make the same dessert or other recipes. Check out Liq & Liquor, itβs a nice addition to the area.β
βWe were in town for a business trip and stayed a few extra days for fun. We stumbled upon The Cheese Wheel and found they offered a cheese and charcuterie board in store and had wines also available by the glass.
The owner helped us choose three great cheeses for our board including a Brillat Savrin which really the star of the show. Triple creamy it paired well with everything. The board had crackers and crostinis as well as pickled onions, cornichons, grapes, salami and two spreads- apple butter and fig paste. We added some blue cheese stuffed olives and some thinly-sliced mortadella to our order.
Wines by the glass are available in machines that pour 1, 3 or 5 ounces. We tried four different wines. There are four whites and four reds available.
The heart of their business is offering over 250 cheeses available for purchase. They have some charcuterie available as well. Definitely worth a trip to check them out, for a meal or to get great cheeses for yourself or for a party.β
βFirst time going here and I had the pleasure of meeting me Matt Jones. This guy is VERY knowledgeable about Cigars. If you ever come by this shop ask for Mr. Jones. He gave me some really good choices to pick out for someone's birthday and they really were impressed by my selection I got for them... All thanks to Mr. Jones. Everyone in the shop were welcoming and its really laid back. I will be returning if I ever need a cigar!β
βNice people inside, but $50 for a standard bottle of Buffalo trace is a bit high. Hard to find so somewhat understandable. Iβll check them out when I want any semi hard to find liquor.β
βA quaint alcove that's a craft beer lover's paradise! Their selection is quite impressive with a beer for everyone. Discovered some local gems as well as old time favorites. Will definitely check this place out again next time I'm in town.β
βIf you canβt find what you are looking for, the owner will try to get it for you. In addition, they will make suggestions for alternatives that you might enjoy. My favorite store to buy spirits!β
βLove Charlie and his staff. They know everyone by name and what they getting. I can never walk in and out due to us having a conversation. Love these guys. Prices are great tooβ
βFantastic prices. The store manager, John, really strives to make fair pricing even on the allocated items. He's making long time clients by this. His prices are always reasonable, and never much over MSRP. And throw in the sales occasionally and you can get great bottles for under MSRP!β
βBouharounβs always has a great selection and a wide range of labels and price ranges. If there is something special that you are searching for, Pete and his staff will also look into ordering it for you. I highly recommend!β

βVery nice & helpful staff! Went in for 2 mini bottles of rum, was asked what kind & told the gentleman he could choose since it was for a white Elephant gift. Thankfully I glanced before leaving and 1 was a whiskey. I was allowed to exchange it.β
β10/10! Stayed open through the aftermath of a hurricane using a generator! Staff is awesome, always there to help and advise if you have any questions. The selection is top notch, with plenty to choose from.
Iβm in here all the time and I always leave extremely happy and satisfied. Keep it up!β

βGood prices and super friendly people. I've been going into the store part of this place for years and I never walk out without everything I went in for. If they don't have something you're looking for just tell them and they will order it for you. Even better the store side now stays open till 10:00 pm Monday thru Saturday. But they still close at 8:00pm on Sunday but those workers deserve to have at least one early night of closing. That's my number one go to store also their gas prices are lower that the other gas stations around and near hwy 183.β
βThe Taco Truck beside the Party Place is excellent. It's right off the Pickens Doodle Trail which makes it very convenient. I had soft beef tacos which seemed to be authentic Mexican food.β
βAlways has what I've needed. Guy that runs it is friendly and gives good recommendations, will be happy to take to ya. Has decent deals on the liquor.
The sleeves seemed cheaper however.
Has a decent assortment of mini bottles at the checkout . Has different sleeves of different kinds of spirits.
Convenient location, and like having the store right next door. Doesn't seem to get too busy that I've seen. And I've never had any problems with anyone or anything there.
Only thing is......... The inside of the liquor store is ... HOT ... I couldn't stay in there but d few minutes just the other day it was already so hot outside and then it was so hot in there... Someone please fix this nice man's air-conditioning, this business seems to be a good thing and they aren't outrageous which really really shocked me.
I am a smoker and buy loose tobacco to roll my own most of the time, and he even had the tobacco I like for the same price and the actual tobacco stores do. He doesn't carry a lot of different kinds but very happy to see he did however carry mine.
Guy that runs it and I noticed another guy , a little ... Heavier i believe, but haven't dealt with him much. Neither bother me but the other guy I deal with all the time is real nice to me and is always welcoming and patient.
I go in alot and sometimes we... Hubby, kiddos, friends even, but he's always nice and I can get a nice ice cold drink and a little snack or some candy .

βI am from WNC and the Harris Teeter in my hometown was flooded due to Hurricane Helene. We came to this location because itβs the closest one to us.
This is a great store. Cashier & young lady bagging our groceries were so nice. The manager, Sonya, was so kind. Especially when we shared where we were from.
I sure do miss our local Harris Teeter & hope it opens soon. Until then, this will be our location of choice.β

βThe Corner store is a great neighbor hood store .the workers are extra friendly .the owner she has the best melt in ur mouth homemade Cakes n Garden grown veggies on a daily .they always put their service towards their customers first ..To me they are more than just a neighbor hood store ..If u need something n it's not in yet they will surely make sure it's on the way to the store..I would recommend the corner store to anyone to shop at ..β
