Hands down the best, most caring people I’ve dealt with! We love how they care for our pets. Never any judgement, always loving and take plenty of time explaining everything. We’re so grateful for the staff here?

We absolutely love Palmetto Animal League. I absolutely love their whole team. Dr. Pointer, Justina, Sally, Peyton, Colby, and Melanie have been a saving grace to our baby kitty. My little Tilly is our miracle because of these wonderful ladies. I couldn't recommend them enough. She is also the sweet little face of their marketing material.

Great people!! We adopted our cat about a year ago from PAL. These folks do great work and really seem to love what they do. We took the car back today for a wellness visit and I was very with the care that they took and the interest that they had in the wellness of the cat. Will 100% be back

I have been emailing back-and-forth with a woman from the Palmetto animal league for a few weeks now asking for some assistance with a neighbor who has over 60 cats that are not properly cared for. Many of them have injuries and some are maimed and they have not been treated for this; others have never been to a vet and have other issues. I doubt if any of them have been fixed because they are mating continuously on my lawn. At first the PAL said they were going to do something and be helpful. And after weeks of going back-and-forth and nothing being done I received a very insulting email that told me basically to put a fence up, I am the new person, to shut my mouth and this is the way things are. I'm very discouraged and disappointed in a place that is suppose to advocate for the well being of the animals simply doesn't. These animals are in need of serious care and the palmetto animal league has done nothing to help the animals. Their only concern seems to be the feelings of the woman who has the cats.

I feel I was age discriminated from the supervisor of this rescue. I have so many recommendations as to what kind of dog mom I am & it was all overlooked. I was very anxious to bring home a mama dog & one of her pups to join my loving family. I never would go back to Palmetto. It’s a shame, when there are so many dogs in need of a good home & one person is left to decide whether the dog can be adopted. The whole idea of rescues is to find good homes. Maybe before a home decision is made for their dogs, they should have a home visit. Then a palmetto can see what type of environment the pet is going into & the true personalities of other pets that maybe in the house also. Judging people& their current pets at a few minutes at a meet & greet is absurd. Acting as though Palmetto has true certified trainers & a degree Supervisor is also absurd, I thought what you do is best for the pet & not putting them through a training school. All I can say, is shame on you; we would of loved so much.

This is a wonderful place...no kill and all types of dogs are there. I've adopted a pretty mixed pup who is a terror and funny, she is loved and a pain to my 8yr old Cavachon.

I am a feral cat rescuer. Palmetto Animal League is a top-notch facility that free feeds, has free roam rooms, has an in-house vet, and AMAZINGLY kind staff! They have taken in kitties I haven't been able to adopt out that I've rescued and found them loving forever homes. They even kept me updated to how my rescue kitties were doing! This place is extremely loving and well-maintained and I highly recommend going here for all your adoption needs!

Great clinic for your pet's basic needs, due to their workload with the rescue one might need another vet on standby for anything beyond routine vaccines and exams though. Aside from that, they're an excellent clinic with great staff
