I signed a POA to have this post represent me during my appeal with the VA, which was in year 11 at the time. I had several concerns with denied, granted, and remanded issues on my appeal. I wad getting paid for 100% P&T but still had remanded and denied issues. I was also denied my effective service connection date and Dusty my professional VSO, in his own words, "I have no ides what that means." So I then contacted the BVA and spoke with a VSO rep there that informed me that my VSO, (this American Legion Post), had missed a crucial timeline to appeal the BVAs decision on the effective service connection date of April 2011. Then when I speak with his supervisor, she doesn't understand why I am confused, when I'm calling the number they are providing me and that rep is telling me to hire a lawyer because the American Legion has messed up. Stay away from this post!
