If I could leave 0 stars I would. I never leave reviews but I believe if I could save one family the grief my parents are going to with this review then that’s enough. This company that calls themselves a hospital is a joke. They have caused my parents pain that no one should have to go through. Misdiagnosed their dog twice which caused the him to suffer and ultimately pass over the rainbow bridge. Refused to help see the dog sooner than an appointment, than once they found out what they misdiagnosed the dog with refused to see my dog who was in contact with him to check her. Said bring her in if she gets sick, but at that point it’s too late apparently. Put us on hold twice for 20 minutes till I had to leave a voicemail and then they never called me back. Asked for vaccination records that were never emailed me to. Then they call my parents to make themselves feel better or to prevent a law suit and they admit they never tested the dog for lepto because they believe he couldn’t get it. I only went to pre veterinary school for two years before changing my major and I know not all vaccinations are 100%. How come someone who doesn’t have a degree in me since know that but someone who spent 8 years in school doesn’t. So how come the ball was dropped here? Please if you love your pet find a different vet. I would hate to see another family go through this pain.

Everyone there is always helpful. They truly seem to care about my dogs. After exams and vaccinations, they always call to check to see how our pups are doing

They are the greatest group of ladies. I don't know what I would have done without them. They have helped me, though, losing 2 of my fur babies.

I really like this hospital however we had an appointment on 9-10 and when we got there, the hospital was closed. I understand things happen, but there should’ve been some type of communication letting us know that the hospital was going to be closed. We drove 35 mins to get there.

I am not sure what is going on with this location but from the past two weeks I have been trying to reach out an make an appointment and either they don’t pick up or they leave you hanging on the phone for more than 10 min. We are all busy, short of staff, multitasking etc….. but customer service is priority on retaining clients and this sure is not a way to keep me coming to Rock hill!Your busy? I understand…. But at least return the phone call later!!!! But not even that!

These guys do well. Most experiences have been quite good. Occasionally encounter ridiculous scenarios, depending on vet at the time.One dog developed a heart murmur and they would not proceed with anesthesia for teeth cleaning without a echocardiogram $$$. Would not consider proceeding even if we accepted all potential risks without Echo. This seemed like a money-maker to me. It’d be nice if they would work with you on option’s because nothing is a concrete issue.The team was top notch when having to put one dog down. Couldn’t have been better. Truly world class that day!

I have no issue with the vets at the Rock Hill location. Very professional and caring. My 15 year old chihuahua was close to the end of her life and the dr told me to call when it was her time to cross over the rainbow bridge. I called and was given an appointment 2 WEEKS out. I called every day, multiple times a day, explaining that the vet said that we would be given a top priority appointment. It didn't matter to the person answering the phones. My baby suffered because of this and I would never recommend Banfield Animal Hospital to anyone.

SCAM I signed up for the puppy wellness plan for 1 year. I noticed money was still getting taking from my account 4 additional months after the year was up. I called and asked them why I was still getting charged and the lady in billing dept. informed me that because I didn’t cancel before the year was up, I got charged for an additional year. When I entered into the contract this information was not given to me. So not only have I paid an additional $200 more than the planned agreement, I still owe them over $500 more for the remainder of the year. HOW is this even possible when I never entered in an agreement for the additional year and nor has my puppy been in for any visits. This is a scam and I will never go back there for anything.

I love this place, I lost my pug last Jan in 2022. I brought her in for her yearly checkup and learned that her organs were shutting down. The staff were with my baby and I comforted us both as she exited this world as they said that if I ever need for me to talk to anyone, that they were there. Thank you Banfield

I have insurance plans on my three animals because I trust this location the most. The staff and docs are great, thorough, and always follow-up the next day following your pets visit. They show they care about your fur babies, which is so important to pet retention.

This Banfield has the greatest staff of all time period my puppy had major liver failure multiple issues and unfortunately was put to sleep they were 1 in a million making sure she was happy they let me stay with her long after she passed I have a card from everyone who works there that is next to her ashs at home I appreciate these kind people and there are to many of you to name but me and Luna bear appreciate all you did for us keep being great people.
