Courtyard Rock Hill is a hotel with friendly staff and some positive features, but it also has many issues. Guests often praise the staff for their kindness and professionalism, especially at the front desk and in the Bistro, where the service and food are seen as good. One staff member was highlighted for their outstanding hospitality, making guests feel welcome and valued. However, many reviews mention problems with the rooms and facilities. The shower areas are often in poor condition, with rotted subfloors, leaking shower doors, mold, and broken shampoo bottles. Some rooms had issues with leaking showers, mold, and broken or missing items like TV remotes and faceplates. The furniture and bedding are sometimes uncomfortable or poorly maintained, with a lack of headboards and broken foam pieces used as pillows. The balcony and outdoor areas also suffer from neglect, with spider webs, webs, and chairs left uncleaned for months. Guests reported that requests for maintenance or cleaning were often ignored or delayed, and the overall upkeep of the property appears lacking. The bar and amenities are minimal, with one guest noting the bar lacked proper service and skill for drinks, and limited options for entertainment. Some guests felt the hotel did not meet the standards expected of the Marriott brand, citing resource shortages and maintenance issues. I have worked with this hotel quite a bit for many years, hosting groups and they are fabulous to work with. I would highly recommend this property as the staff is excellent to work with. Special shoutout to Erin in the sales office who is always willing to help me out!

The employees were very friendly, especially the lady who checked me in around 9:30 PM.
The rooms are a little dated, but pretty clean.

The rooms are big,clean and spacious. The Ac was relatively quite. The location is ok, could be better, not a lot of food options. They dont have that much option for breakfast either and the coffee is average. Plenty of parking spots.
